this list of eligible cars are listed both as GT3. Also, are both classes set to the same PI?

Its like a maximum PI, I dont think your car HAS to be at that PI

Soo... whats with the LMP1 Class being so closed off and secretive? Im guessing I have no chance of being allowed in.

i just tried building a few GT1 cars, and just putting Firestone RACE compounds on the Maserati MC12 pushes it over into the 'U'seless class

I say change the GT1 class to not have a PI limit, but a Power limit.

With the Lemans track announcement for FM3, i think we should have a 24 hours of lemans race after the petit lemans.

Nicky it would be tough to have a power limit in GT1 as the it would be around 700hp (the SLR has like 650 stock HP)

Is the Nurburgring race really going to be 50 laps?

The following needs to be edited as there only one race in the night not two.

I also would be very interested in the LMP class, but there are no details on it?

yeah i was confused too as i was building it so i went back to the rules and saw that that bit had been deleted

Can I ask why the GT1 cars can't be fitted with race tyres?
Why not upgrade the class slightly. For example like I did with the petit le mans where the GT1 cars had the same amount of power and the same tyres and rims. It seemed to work. If you gave the GT1 cars with 640BHP and see what happens.
Or if we could get together to do a test and see what works.

What gave you that idea?

Because I build a gt1 car and I wasn't able to put any race tyres on because it went to U999. I could only put sports tyres on to get it to P.I S990.

i only hit that issue with the masserati. if you try the any of the other cars (except the vanquish) you can use race tyres but you cant use the race weight reduction

What time is car selection on monday? (please say 8:00)

Could I please have clarification on the LMP rules are there are none in the rules, but states LMP cars are to be used in the championship. Car selection is tomorrow, and I'd like to know what I can use!

I think the GT1 rules might need a bit of work, mainly because of the MC12. Also I would of thought the 575M would at least be in GT1.

LMP class is invite only, and the drivers will be selected by Ian.

GT1 class is open like normal series, where you are only limited by the amount of cars available.

GT3 class is the same as the TORA GT car selection stuff like that.

Oh darn. Would have really have loved to be in LMP1 class. Pants. Ian, do you want a sweety?
