Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Please Note: Teams are not able to score point across the different classes. If you want to run a GT1 car and a GT3 car then you will have to have 2 separate teams in each class. I know most of you are probably aware of this, but I'm just making sure
Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
i know alot goes into creating these different series, but i was thinking yesterday b4 the GTC event, that in these enduro's, if a P1 car were to lap a GT3 car more than twice, even with a 5 minute end race timer, he may not finish (specially at Sebring, where the GT3's lap over 2min). or is there something in the rules that i overlooked that takes care of that..?

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
not atm.
We will be bringing in;
1 - Rolling starts.
2 - Racing finishes on the completion of lap 49, to allow lapped cars to finish.

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
It should be a fixed amount of power and a max handling rating to keep things even- I also think it should be 1 build for the whole season, not adding power along the way to suit tracks

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
yeah, I mean you don't see teams changing power outputs or adding/ taking off hundreds of lbs in FIA GT because it's a new track- It should be 1 build for the whole year

i agree
Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Il almost garantee you cars running in fia gt will undergo a development process throughout a season like any other sport. If anything more of that will be under the skin stuff. Sure it wont be as much but stuff will still get done. Though granted i doubt there are one track specials.
Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
yeah, the gigawave GTR crew is pretty much doing a development season this year.

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
development and builds for certain tracks can't even be compared- just about every type of motorsport team develops new parts for their car

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
tbh, with these cars at that set PI its pretty hard to change power output all the time, especially when you favour power over handling. Last night I tried a TVR without any weight reduction and lots of power and it was useless. When I put the weight reduction in and reduced the power it was a very drivable car. Changing the builds of the car is, unfortunately, something that we can't control and moderate throughout a season. Maybe Forza 3...

Re: Rulebook Clarification and FAQ
Teams may not run in multiple classes, so some slight name variations are needed. The official entry list sates;
XTI Competizione
Team HSR
If you would like these changed to something else plz contact me.
