Sebring Driver Briefing
Good Morning Everyone, and welcome to Florida,
There are a few points I want to make sure you are aware of before opening for questions, which myself as Head Steward and AJ, as Official Timekeeper will answer for you.
1 - Please ensure that you have thoroughly familiarised yourself with the Rules and Regulations, particularly the Safety Car Procedure (2.3).
2 - Make sure you are either on the TORAonline friends list, or on your lobby captain's.
3 - Please check Live Timing regularly, so you are aware of who you Lobby Captain is (marked in red), however please be aware of who the other Lobby Captain's are as you may receive an invite from them.
4 - Scrutineering will occur immediately after the Qualifying session has finished, please could all cars line up near the pit lane exit for inspection.
5 - Failure to pass Scrutineering will result in a 1 second time penalty on you qualifying time.
6 - Repeated and/or gaining an advantage from corner cutting at the start of the Ullman Straight will not be tolerated and will result in a lap being removed from your tally at the end of the race, as well as further sanctions.
7 - Cars about to be lapped should take reasonable steps to allow the faster car passed within 3 corners.
8 - If lapping on the Ullman Straight, slower cars should NOT deviate from their line. The faster cars will pass around you.
AJ and I now open the floor to any questions.

Re: Sebring Driver Briefing
me and Sgt JigglyMoobs have not recieved number boxes yet. We have applied for them. Would it be ok to run the GTC ones for the mean time. unless we recieve them within a reasonable time tonight.
Re: Sebring Driver Briefing
I have a similar question. I have not recieved an official number plate for mine. Would it be alright to use a general number plate if I include my number, nationality and class?

Re: Sebring Driver Briefing
FR sent, I have a GT3 car btw.
EDIT: Also, in the Live Timing I am listed as #56. I registered with #12, is this a glitch/mistake or am I required to use this number?

No, the field will form in order of current track position regardless of lapped cars, with the leader becoming the safety car.
N.B - Pitting under the safety car IS permitted, however the safety car will NOT wait for you to return to the back of the snake.
