Re: Championship Discussion
My apologies. I'd just been in the SGT thread and thought you were asking for that again. I'll make you up a list and get it across ASAP.
Re: Championship Discussion
How many graphics will I need to download for the series, because I have the numberbox and window banner from AJzero's storefront.
Along with that, where do I need to position the window banner on the 2-Eleven.

Re: Championship Discussion
No window banner is required on open cockpit cars. Just make sure you have a number box on each side, and one on the hood.

Fellipe Massa. I'm pretty quick, in one of the best cars, but the voices in my head keep telling me my teammate is faster than me!

Re: Championship Discussion
I was not really happy today for something different, which is the lag. Because in the past it has never been this bad, even when I didn't open any other ports.
But since my family is moving to BE, Sky thought it would be a good idea to lower are download and upload speed every couple of weeks. Which is:
0.20MB/S - Download
0.28MB/S - Upload
Also my father who pays for the connection isn't helping, when he is downloading. So on the whole I don't get a final say.
----
What else did you add to the router, after opening up the ports for XBL? I added the IP from my Xbox 360 to the allow lists.
Can you tell us, what your connection speed was like last week? 2MB/S
Did you restart your router before race 1? Yes
Was there any problems in the last V8C race? No
What race did you retire in? It was the feature race, because it would of ruined everyone's races. Which I don't want to happen, but at least I scored some points in the sprint race.
Seeing how the lag made me slow down more, and because of this it didn't take long for me to be in last place. However if Sky didn't lower the connection speeds, then I could of battled Matt and CamberMan.
----
I have just done another test, and the download speed has jumped up to 3MB/S. While the ping is at 52ms now, which shows my Dad downloading so much stuff online doesn't help.
Then again, I never had this problem early last week. But I can't tell him to stop downloading, because he pays for the broadband.

Re: Championship Discussion
that was a bloody good race last night! Sorry you weren't there Pebb but at least you had the decency to retire to not ruin our race! but the result would have been different if i didnt have a crash with Jenson!! :@

Re: Championship Discussion
I was quite lucky in race one last night. A couple of incidents put Champion behind me on the second to last lap. Managed to hold him off with 0.1 seconds to spare as we cross the line.
Finished dead last in the second race but I was just glad we managed to drag two Lotii into A lobby...anything more than that was always going to be a bonus.

Re: Championship Discussion
Hi Guys
I was looking for the race thread (like the maple valley thread) to say In or out too last night? Is the GT4 ran differently to the TCC/ABT?
soz if this a dopey question...

Re: Championship Discussion
No I think it was just us being slightly disorganised! Everyone on the entry list received invites to qualify whether they were in or out last night.
Re: Championship Discussion
chest freezer, spare room, kids toys and x-factor accounted for my DNS or even being on xbox live before 9pm..
I need to get my priorities sorted out.

Re: Championship Discussion
Well when I finally got into a race lobby (thanks aero for all your help) I had an absolutely cracking set of races. After a little coming together with Johnnyboy (racing incident) then me spinning myself out after needing a change of undies I had to battle from dead last! I have to say that it had to be the most enjoyable race I've had in a very long time.
At times my arse was twitching like a rabbits nose (especially near Jenson before a straight) but I managed to battle my way to the front to meet the Fattest BMW ever seen (audisport Louis) and had a good little battle which took us all the way to the flag.
Excellent racing loved every minute of it. Although it is a shame that people were disconnecting due to lag etc.
Cheers Boys
