can't help turning up the volume WAY to loud when in most of these legend cars. The sound of that GT40!!! OMG ;O)

as sad as it may sound, when younger, or at least whenever I have a lovely car and one that sounds the nads, my mates and I will always seek out tunnels to rev, accelerate, decelerate etc to hear the over run popping, exhaust singing, webber carbs sucking, engine revving its nuts off.
Shift 2 is the first game I've actually been on a tunnel hunt in!!! ;O)
And OMG!!! Ambush Canyon ;O) Sounds f'in amazing!!! lol

All we need now Is Porsche 917 and I will be happy lol but om how good do the classics handle which is odd when they handle better than most newer cars in the game!

that's because most seem to have some basic tuning as standard ;O) Unlike the other cars. Which highlights how much tuning can improve the game also.

Slightly Mad Studios
- Input processing, tweaked default wheel settings and fixed force muting problem. Addresses wheel lag/feel issues. (somewhat understated - a large code change to reduce latency is included improving both the input and wheel animation delay)
- Fix Upgrade / garage screen crash / hang.
- Fix Logitech FFB.
- Fix tech hang on vehicle selection if own loaner car and it's upgraded it past initial class.
- Fix occasional logic flaw for redeeming voucher codes.
- Fix restarting or quitting a race while slow motion is active in replay
- Improved validation of lap times, scores and speeds:
- Fix don't report unrealistic records to stat servers.
- Fix don't store unrealistic records to profile if playing online.
- Fix : Reset unrealistic stats stored in the profile after successful signin.
- Fix : All constants controlling record validation can be overridden from server-side config.
- Fix drift scores above 3600 not appearing in Records.
- Fix : Don't send lap times in game reports when playing drift (fixes issue with Nevada Circle Night track sharing leaderboard id with Asia Drag Strip)
(this is unofficial and there's probably a few things I missed - the PC patch obviously includes all these fixes)
*EDIT* I originally said 'DLC title update' instead of 'title update 2' - the 1st console update is a subset because the equivalent of the 1st PC patch is split over two updates. My bad, that'll probably cause some confusion.

Amazing!!! It even tracks your split times and lap times when you use the banking in hot lap mode.

We all know how some members feel about this game thanks mainly to handling issues, and judging by the changelog in the first 2 PC version patches, this is being addressed (although it takes longer to get through Microsoft QA approval unfortunately), so please don't follow this post with "fix the game first" comments.
SMS have posted on their Facebook page an open invite to tell them what tracks you feel are missing. This may mean that they're looking for DLC ideas or it could be that they'll put them into a future title, but if you want to head over and have your say, here's the link:

it's another 4MB download, so I guess it's the second part of the first patch. The first part being wrapped up in the Legends DLC.
Second PC patch is in the works so hopefully there will be another download for the Xbox to relatively soon.
I've still no idea if this is actually a patch or not though!!

I've noticed a little difference in FFB and a little less driftiness.
My Game options are still :
Game Options > Gameplay > Adjust Controls (Advanced)
All default expect:
Steering Deadzone = 0%
Speed Sensitivity = 85%
Speed Sensitivity (Drift) = 100%

Maybe the 4mb was another update for DLC? Speed Hunters DLC is out on the 17th.
