If it is true though, big deal, in more ways than one, those that will want to pay for it will have to suffer the F1 Digital + levels of prices, we can always say no and watch something else, if we want to.

Practice two will be on the Speed Channel here in the US in about 15 minutes, just now finding out that Alonso led and Vettel crashed in the first practice. Do you guys get to watch every practice in other countries? Over here we get bombarded with NASCAR practice in all three of their national series yet we only see 1 practice session for each F1 race, and it's always the second one for some reason.

You are very right on that, Mercedes has dominated the first two practice sessions, Alonso was fast in the first one but it was raining and everybody was 15 seconds off the pace so it's basically moot if there is no more rain.

So I guess the Speed channel shows practice 3 on the internet so I can at least follow that, hopefully watch it. Not sure if they covered practice 1 or not but I guess I will find out next race. Speed has really great commentators too, and most of them are European so it feels authentic.

I noticed there was something called Speed on that link you gave to the Spa race feed.

Speedtv.com is the Speed channel I am talking about in the US, they are mostly a TV based network but have a lot of crap on the internet as well. We get some good racing on that channel but are missing quite a bit of things from around the world. I think the only foreign series they show live is F1, Australian V8 is delayed a week, WRC is delayed a week, and everything else from around the world is just ignored all together.

Merc were quick in the wet too but thatz caused they used 2 sets of wet tyres at least. Good showing again from Di Resta, beating his team mate again.

Theres talk of Rosberg going to Red bull or Ferrari. If he Leaves Merc, Di Resta is likely to take his place. id rather see Webber in the Ferrari with Rosberg at Red Bull and Di Resta in the Merc.

Final practice is in about an hour and a half with qualifying in about 4 and a half. The wait is killing me, I have resorted to listening to WRC internet radio coverage. GUESS WHO'S WINNING? lol

GP2 kicks off this weekend too, who will be watching that? The channel I watch F1 on shows the GP2 race immediately before it so I will be catching that as well. It's at 6am EST for anybody interested and able to watch.

Once again, a German in a car that wont win an F1 race, makes an attention seeking start and ruins it for anyone who isnt German and isnt in a Red Bull.

Occasionally you can see his glove finger appearing in the bottom of the shot so he's definitely holding it. It's pretty cool to see the drivers eye view in real life and not in a game for a start. Mind you also pretty cool to see the circuit not shouded in fog or soaked with rain!

So how is he shifting one handed then?

Also, Mercedes, Massa, and Button are making me depressed. I'm sick of Red Bull running away with it, and I don't want to see Hamilton or Alonso win. This is going to be a very short championship if Vettle's KERS keeping working so well.

Is it just me, or is the BBC coverage really annoying this year? The Brundle/DC commentary is great, and Ted still knows what he's talking about, but every time Jake, EJ, and DC show up I want to bang my head against the wall. I'm not finding any of their banter amusing anymore, and all of the preshow stuff they show is boring and usually explains something so elementary that even my 2 kittens understand it. Maybe its just because Brundle and DC manage to be intelligent and entertaining and by comparison the non race part is obnoxious.

And just to add again, DRS is killing F1 imo. With the back wing open, they were flying past each other WAY before the braking zone. Its no longer a device to assist overtaking, its a device to automatically overtake. Its driving me crazy that DRS is messing up the great racing that Pirelli created.

EDIT: ARRRGGHHHH!!! Jake just called it an epic race. You are the lead presenter for the BBC covering one of the biggest sports in the world and you use the word "epic"?!

Starting to get bored of this, reason why? Vettel is ALWAYS number 1, (apart from China, which was a great race) and when he does, he becomes big headed but when he loses he cries! Normal drivers usually go "Yeah unlucky race, team done all they can, just learn from this and be strong next time" Vettel goes (Annoyed voice) "Just couldnt do it, car was crap, team weren't helping, next race we shall carry on cheating like we always do"
Thats my opinion, I hate Vettel, I hate Red Bull, and they have been caught cheating before. It wouldnt suprise me if they got caught again.
