I quite like the track, oddly. The tight left handed loop-around back towards the home straight is quite tough (not to mention the annoyingly sticky chicane!)

Turn 1 is fun though, especially if you ge the turn in right and hook the car through the camber, makes the turn in spot on Smile

Just struggling on a suitable aero package for the track, the longer turns and straights should ask for low settings but the tighter turns and a couple of the mid-corner changes seem to ask for more. You certainly need a stable car with all the elavation changes and there's a nasty bump I found running into T1 that I hadn't noticed initially!

Yeah I hit turn one's apex one in every ten attempts...it'll see some bottleneck fun on lap one I reckon

I didn't consider the lighting on this track when choosing my paint scheme. Quite hard to see the little Rossion as is, let alone it being a black carbon fiber! I was just discussing the first corners little groove with a team mate. It's quite nice when you hit it.

Peed off with Live at the mo. My internet is fine and the sodding Live dropped me off on Lap 2. Not impressed.

exciting race tonight in lobby A. was able to put the pressure on Berty on the first green flag lap, but he started walking away on me. Smile

i made a couple mistakes, but im happy with my finish. great racing against simonbiggs and VVV Bobcat. bobcat and i entered the pits together. i entered right behind him, and it appears my pit crew was a tiny bit faster, and we ended up inside each other's car exiting the pits. neither of our cars got damage apparently, outside some scuffing up the paint.

My replay is up on my SF now.

edit: My personal best tonight was a 1:05.086, but it was dirty. (stupid FM3 penalty system, that lap was clean after the lap that was dirtied near the end) Razz

Was a good race from Lobby C although could have been better! 3 people came out of a 6 person lobby, one was due to lag and the others had to go for something, but nevertheless, I started pole, and came 1st!! So another great race round a hated track for me!! Well dont to Gary and Chris also!! And James will not be racing anymore unless he tells me otherwise, so really desperatly looking for a team mate or I go solo :'(

Great drive by Butcher. Handicap, Aero Damage and still manged to pull off amazing lap times, great racing 2night was all about endurance Smile

Congratulations Berty on a fine win.

I've updated all the results and standings so you can see how things shook out.

Comiserations to anyone who "suffered mechanical failure" and lagged out. You do still score points based on your "finishing position" in relation to distance completed, so it's not a complete waste of your time!

Honorable mention has to go to PLOW TheButcher, who set great lap times and did incredibly well to finish 6th overall, even with the 5% power handicap "success ballast" and damage - running 1:05s.
Great close racing in Lobby B. The replay is on my storefront.
Oh, and Worm - overtaking me with 1 lap to go after holding you off for so long?! You're mine next race!!! Twisted Evil

I kept looking for a hole and couldn't find one. I was only faster in the corners and your car was so darn wide I couldn't find a hole. Just grinded out what I could. Practice runs I was getting 1:06.4's then I get damage and understeer like crazy
