I love that car. I wish my Honda CRV sounded like that...
I also like how that video actually gives the impression that the car is moving very quickly as opposed to the F1 camera work that make the cars look like they are just cruising around. The only shots in F1 that do the cars justice are the helicopter shots.

Docu Movie - "Grand Prix - The Killer Years" (2011)
In the 60s and early 70s it was common for Grand Prix drivers to be killed while racing, often televised for millions to see. Mechanical failure, lethal track design, fire and incompetence snuffed out dozens of young drivers. They had become almost expendable as eager young wannabes queued up at the top teams gates waiting to take their place. This is the story of when Grand Prix was out of control. Featuring many famous drivers including three times world champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, twice world champion Emerson Fittipaldi and John Surtees OBE, this exciting but shocking film explores how Grand Prix drivers grew sick of their closest friends being killed and finally took control of their destiny. After much waste of life, the prestigious Belgian and German Grands Prix would be boycotted, with drivers insisting that safety be put first. But it would be a long and painful time before anything would change, and a lot of talented young men would be cut down in their prime. This is their story.

Good ol' Tiff! Looking pretty handy in that car.
Notice the ''8 or 9 manufacturers would kill it'' comment. Foreshadowing the BTCC's fate then, eh?

Re: The TORA Random Video Multiplex.
From 1:34 onwards, look at the way the cars moved through the stadium section together. F1's problems would be answered by letting the teams use just one rear wing element, and two front wing elements.
I really do miss the proper hock

Re: The TORA Random Video Multiplex.
I miss those V10's, they sound so much better than the V8's. I'm really not looking forward to the switch to 1.6 turbo 4 cylinders.

Re: The TORA Random Video Multiplex.
Watching that back again.. we really all need to get SBK 11 for a TORA Superbike Championship or something, it'd take us away from Forza and Shift, while still being a ''racing'' thing.

Wow, I never thought I would miss the shape of the R15+, but the 2011 spec LMP1s are really ugly. The R18 is just missing the sex appeal that it should have, the Aston looks like what a 3 year old would draw if you gave him a crayon and told him to draw a race car, and the new 908 just looks out of proportion. At least Oreaca still has their old 908. It will be sad when that is finally retired, I'll miss its cylon looks.
On the other hand, the Hancook 458 looks great, the Strakka should look good if it looks like last years, and if Highcroft actually make it to the race, the new HPD looks good too.

Re: The TORA Random Video Multiplex.
You see I would be different to that! I like the new shape of the R18, think it looks alien and sinister, the aston you are right with some bits but I love the weird egg shaped sort of vents on the side. Never really liked the 908s anyway and this one still looks like the old one also the 458 has plastic bits where there shouldnt be (ie the front bumper where things have been covered up and have strut bar plastic things *technical term*)
You are right with strakka and highcroft they really do look like lovely cars. Ill see if there good looking in real life in a month or two rofl. . . . . .
