The Rules for the 12 Hours of Sebring

Three hours into the TORA event and it's now time for the driver changes.
Like the real event, there was high drama from the start. During the three hours, the overall lead changed four times. Aero Dynamics fill the top two places and are four laps ahead of the Audi R15 TDI run by VVV. The team's second squad also leads the GT category and holds a slim advantage over the Snap On Datsun Racing Nissan 350Z. Two teams having difficulties are THR after 2 hours and 20 minutes. Gulf Austins also suffered early on and both teams are now running onto the track once again.


Standings after 3 hours:

DAN 2605 - Gulf Austins Motorsport Lola Aston Martin - 22 laps - 82 miles

All good up to the second safety car. Was in 1st with a lap or two in hand ;O) Then a major incident occurred, the safety car vanished from in front of me for about 2 seconds, then all of a sudden my car was rolling side over side about three or four times ;O0...100% aero damaged and major mechanical damaged resulted in nearly a full lap limp at a max of 35 mph back to the pits. Rest of the race at approx GT2 pace with what felt like a P1 rally car underneath me ;O(

GOOD LUCK MICKO ;O) If we have no other issues and three good stints to the end we may be able to still win it. Fingers crossed ;O)

johnnyboy's aston martin retired at 36 minutes and 71 miles into the second stint.

only .78 miles behind after 3 hours of caution racing lol.

@Narboza22 - I'm really sorry mate. I know how much you wanted to race in this. But you might as well put your feet up and enjoy watching the real event mate. I'm going to.

Thats because everyone or most people in the lobby seems to be watching the real race and racing the TORA 12 hours at the same time. So as a result, it affects the connections a lot.
Not a good event for Gulf Austins Motorsport I think.

Yeah probably, I wasn't watching nothing and there was about 3 computers on so xbox had a fair share of the Internet.

i couldnt join the lobby to watch and now its got me quite worried for my stints

The room was full Franchitti. I was in there spectating, I left to watch the real race just now

Our GT2 chances took a little hit when Bob's connection decided he wanted some of these!!

just as an fyi johnny, when everyone in the lobby except you start lagging, it isnt everyone else. its most likely on your end. i had a good 45 minute-start, then the huge lag-spike sent my car spinning and sideways on top of the pit wall. spent the rest of my stint with full Aero damage. Shameful really, and sorry to Chris cuz now he's got to try and make up for lost time

Pretty much action in the second stint. I just tried to keep my pace and keep the Gulf Austin behind me. Then safety car after safety car came out and things got messy during caution. Some saw lagging and my car accidently hit PacMan which caused damage to his car, but none to mine, none at all.
I knew I had to push to catch the Aero Dynamics and twice when I was about to pass Stonewall, what happened? Of course, the safety car came out and since Aero wasnt at the weel, I had to be the safety car and back off to about 100mph´s. But that´s racing I got 1 lap back on the Aero Dynamics so I´m happy with that

To bad Gulf Austins I was really looking forward to some great batltes. But I will see you guys in other series for sure
