I always found that when I used the wheel I was always slower than using the controller. More effort is required to use the wheel and be good with it, yet the pay off is that your slower than the pad, so I just stuck with that in Forza. I used the wheel in every other racing game though until it broke.

Learning curve Richy it takes a month. You just have to stick with it and refuse to pick that darn pad back up!

Yea, i knew I wasnt gonna just pick it up and do great. but.... I have suprised myself in the cycled production lobby. I just have a hard time with consistancy on the pad, and i tell ya what, I'm really consistant with the wheel. I use a stupid 8 year old wheel on gran turismo. I have no problem with GT5. Its just forza and the wheel is kinda weird. Is there any way to set up the deadzones or anything? I havent looked yet, but the steering on the MS wheel is too light.

My hardest thing is always remembering to use the stupid clutch button. Downshifting is kinda a tuffy. Hit the brakes, press B and Downshift at the same time, O dont forget to blip the throttle. eh, its fun, but hard for sure.

Finally found something in the Ferrari's set-up. Looking forward to the first race and hope I have what it takes in qualifying to get in the top lobby. Very Happy

5 hours. between the routine time changes, is the only time when the times vary, depending on when they occur. otherwise, racing on Sunday is done @ 3pm EST. i've been racing here since '09 and im still initially confused when the time changes happen, cuz i think the UK changes before the US. (as far as im aware)

Is it worth delaying the GT race by half hour? F1 is from 6 - 8 tonight. If we set lobbies up for 8 for practice, and then start at half 8?

At the same time, I don't know whether its too short notice. Get lobbies up for 8pm, livetiming and lobbies groups for qualifying way before, and if everyone is in already, just go I suppose. Just inform of a possible delay between qually and the races

Yea maybe a delay usally about 15 min from quali to race lobbys.

I expcect half they field 2night if that.

I don't care but delaying the start of the first race because of something you can control isn't a good start to someone new here that has been preparing for some time. Maybe they have something they HAVE to do afterwards.
