Top Gear mag reviewed the game this month.

They said it was a good fun racer, but very much aimed at making it more arcadey than the PC games. Simbin is the god of simulation games on the PC with the GTR and Race series. Its a very good game, but don't expect it as realistic as you are expecting.

Or something along thise lines, basically they liked the game (they gave it 16/20) but they didn't find it as realistic as the GTR games or even compared to current xbox 360 games, which I assume is forza

ive got gtr evo with race 07, upgrading ma pc so it should be magic lol but i think race pro have gone wrong where race grid went wrong.

Top Gear should of made The Stig review the game.

lol, they guy who was reviewing it says he loves the proper simulation games like GTR and race, and he needs to use the G25 to make sure they are as eralistic as possible. I think he knows his stuff, but he just didn't like it compared to the PC games.

Thats the thing though isn't it. He needed to compare it to Forza, GRID, that sort of thing.
I know why he's done that, coz its part of the Simbin system BUT the possibilities aren't there to make it as simmy as possible really. We dont have the G25, we don't have the cult folowing and generally the 'kids' that have 360's (outnumbering us sensible folk 20:1-anyone playing GRID will attest to this) want to win now now now, have lots of crashes and/or shoot people in the face. Take your pick.

Its a sad fact about console gaming, having to pander to the larger goup of immature and gun toting folk that have no interest in PROPER racing.
But then again thats what communities like this are all about

Monza comes with the game already doesnt it? It is part of the WTCC calander and ive seen gameplay of it.

I thought Zolder was in game too.... or is that Zandvoort?? I dunno. Having Donington would be really good too. Hope thats the NEW Imola they add, Spa.... well good for the 24hrs but not sure if they have the license still.

As for the DLC cars there wtf??? Wheres the 2008/09 wtcc cars? Wheres more GT spec stuff??? Im not all that fussed about historics really.
