Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
to state again,
1. each stint, you total distance is taken
2. the next stint is started in the order of positions (not sure if rolling or standing roll off, 2 seconds each?)
3. at the end, all distances are added up
4. winner announced
5. drinking begins
6. next morning = regrets
1. each stint, you total distance is taken
2. the next stint is started in the order of positions (not sure if rolling or standing roll off, 2 seconds each?)
3. at the end, all distances are added up
4. winner announced
5. drinking begins

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
^Sounds about right to me
I can't remember what we did last year, but we definitely didn't do rolling starts for each stint. It took to long to get around the circuit at Le Mans.
You might be nose to tail with fellow racers in your class anyway so having it set to random grids will mess up everything. However, it could more accurately represent the pit stop you are effectively making, and you would have came out in traffic either in front or behind your rival.
The grids will be set up so that the P1 cars will go first, then LMPC and then GT. We'll have a roll off of maybe 1-2 seconds for each car, but grid wise it will either be set in PI order or random within class.
However many laps you are down will be reflected in your overall time anyway, so no you won't be waiting at the sides of the track to go those laps down again. It's the same as the ISCC, so your total distance is what your are driving for, no just track position.
With Sebring being quite a bit shorter than Le Mans I would be happy to have a full ordered rolling start grid at the start of each stint relative to where you/your team finished in the previous stint.
Remember, at the end of each stint except the last one all cars will stop on track when the counter reaches zero and you won't finish the lap you are on. This could mean we would start the next race in a mixed up field in your positions, so it could be GT, GT, LMP1, LMPC, GT, LMP1 etc etc

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
by this last bit, by zero, do u mean with 10 minutes to go so we race 1:50 minutes and then we stop when that times up, lobby host writes down distance and then we chill there until time runs out? or are we racing till absolute zero? im just a bit confusedRichy wrote:

There are currently negotiations for a third driver for the P1 ARX01b Family Village Racing/Oak
rest assured, mikem's shoes will be tough to fill.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Is there any group practices planned that I can get in on? I'm used to running LMP so getting passed is a completely new experience for me.
