Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Does that go on position then? So the top 3 LMPs are always together in the same lobby?

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
If you read the rules thread, it becomes more clear.
Each stint, the total distance is taken, and at the end all distances are added together.
So its multiclass, but with two lobbies

well i didnt do to bad on my first qualifying session(3rd in class).if each stint is 2hrs long then you could do at least 200miles on tank of fuel(GT cars),but if youre a LMP1 car then its going to be different and same goes with LMPC as well.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
I've managed to find the diagnosis this morning to the sound cutting in and out. Thankfully, it was my surround sound system but that's been sorted now.
I reckon the LMP's in Lobby A will have the advantage due the little amount of GT's in the field. The LMPC's are quick around the bends so they won't lose much time stuck behind them. I think Coca Cola Highcroft, Audisport Lola and DB4D will have a tougher time passing the GT's. But, we'll never know until the race finally gets underway.
All I can say is I wish my fellow competitors the best of luck in this race and hope this years running will be a huge success!

Last time I tried to do a 2 hour race I lagged out after 90 minutes. Hope everyone has a good race.

hopefully with the lobby fix that shouldnt happen anymore.
Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
I am doing the 10pm - 12pm in the Team Sky Ferrari F430. My question is, do I get out of the way of the LMPs or should I just carry on with my own race and they make their way passed?

I just want to put emphasis on the start of the race, please everyone don't do anything stupid, it's a 12 hour race, not 12 seconds, there will be plenty of time to race someone through out the race i promise! just take your time and if you have to tip-toe a couple of times, that's a lot better than crashing your car! everyone have a fun and safe race and will see you out on track

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Sweet. I apologise for my slowness. But you never know, with other cars to pace myself with I might actually go faster than I have in practise.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
True true. I can do high 2:05s pretty much every lap if I am not too worried about lap times.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
In the event someone forgets their stint and doesn't show up, is another driver allowed to just fill in the spot in a an emergency if they happen to be online and prepared?

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Sure, we don't have a problem with that. As long as we are made aware as we have a relatively strict schedule to keep to.
Unfortunately we had to remove Major Lazer from Session one, as his lag wiped out numerous cars on the parade and first lap. Hopefully Team Sky can get into Session 2 without incident.
