Mate it is all good, I am sorry to racert46 for the tap in race 2 at the start.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
Big respect to Twisted who I had a good battle with in the 1st race and showed great respect in Race 2 by NOT trying to force passes in the first quarter of the lap - there are some people that would do well to take note
Yea we had a great 1st race, had trouble keeping the car grounded but was a brilliant challenge to escape ya grasp lol, and Race 2 I did what everyone SHOULD have been doing, being patient, not trying to win by forcing my way through 12 cars in the 1st turn, shame there was one or two who couldn't wait very long to let the pack thin out so it was cleaner.
Anyways good racing with you mate, you have my sympathy for race 2 after 4 restarts the same couple people were being risky, look forward to seeing you on the track soon.
Thanks guys, thouroughly enjoyed tonight, You can count on me to make the next one aswell as the Nurburgring 8 Hour on Saturday

Would like to say "well done" to shrinkingsteven for hosting lobby C. Although there may have been a delay at the start..it wasn't for lack of trying. Apart from that had 2 okish rounds and a couple of epic battles with CRA morphader . In round 2 thaught i had it sorted taking shrinkingsteven on the inside after the first high speed section( thanks for giving the line steve only to hit the brakes for the right hander to find NOTHING. should have taken my bucket and spade with me into the sand LOL. anyway struggled a bit after that but almost caught crisis nine at the line.. close but not quite enough.. All in all though a good nights fun. and "well played" to the lobby winners. and to all in lobby C . nice one gents

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
What a night, it was my best result ever in the short period that I have been racing here at TORA. Getting myself into the A lobby of TORA GT feels already like a small victory to me. Seeing my name between some of the great drivers that race here was the best feeling.
About the racing, the first race I was trying to follow the pack and had a great clean battle with FranchittiFan (btw no problem about the tap in the second race these things happen). And in the end made a small mistake that let iteknix past me as well.
The second race was not so good on my part. Having to start from pole knowing that you have all those really fast guys behind you was a bit overwelming. Maybe these reversed grid wasn't the best idea... I really treid to do my best but after a short off i was trying to return to the track and was taken out from behind by one of the fast guys. I am sorry if I came back on the track to soon and probably should have handled it different. I will look at the replay and see what went wrong and learn something from it. I am still learning and trying to get better as driver and try to race clean, but as I am just a 39 year old mortal man that loves Forza and TORA i will sometime make mistakes, and if there is a SI and they find my actions deserve a penalty I will accept those and try to avoid the same thing from happening again.
And for those that ever wonderd, A lobby seats are really bigger and service is better......
BTW: In the end TPR b0x kicked everybodies butt so we all can improve on something.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
Yeah our race 1 battle was wicked, how i passed you each time again was crazy! My car didnt even have much aero on it so it to mugged of that straight each lap was very annoying.
Race 2 was well abit different to say the least got a great start but I found yor bumper Racer as i turned it, so that let Blackbird passed us then a braved it round the out to get 2nd. Managed to get 1st when Blackbird made a mistake and pulled out a small gap which lasted till halfway round lap 2! I started thinking I was in for a good race when I ran wide and fell to 3rd. Blackbird, Tsafoot and myself had a great battle how none of crashed I dont know it was very close. Coming onto lap 3 I feared the straight would be my down fall and it was as cars came wizzing by me. I felt I held my and line and even turned away when CQR Neon tryed to pass, In my view a silly move. Then coming into the middle of the lap I got passed my Magic and then he ran wide coming to the tight 2nd harpin and he rejoined straight back on the track and had to stand on the brakes not to cream the back of him. Then got a wee tap from daniel which lost me some aero so coming into one of the right handers I ran abit wide, and came back on and left space for Magic on the left for the next right hander. I felt I had everyright to stay on the left for the corner but got ran off the track which ruined my race as I was battling for a top 5.

Sorry but you ruined your own race. You didn't run 'a bit wide', you were 4 wheels off the track, no longer on the circuit and just rejoined in front of cars going 40mph quicker. I had to dive to your inside just to avoid hitting you - a good many people would have slammed straight into the back of you. Then because I'm now on the wrong side of the track for the next right hander I can no longer make the corner and still give room on the exit for your car, where exactly did you expect the car on your inside to go? Not impressed at all

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
@Franchitti About my "move"..... The corvette was one of the fastest cars in a straight line at the ring and had already slip streamed past around 3- 4 cars one the straight and then seeing that i had so much more speed than you in a section where no braking is required and also seeing that you where sort of in the middle of the track i saw my best option would be to go right until i saw you then turning in towards the curb and doing so i took to the grass so i didn't blow both of our races and gave the position back. Having said that im not sure you saw me coming towards you (granted i could have called the move a little louder) all in all i do feel that on quick sections certain cars would sit in the middle of the track so that no cars could not pass on the left or right (my point of view)

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
Where did you expect me to go? Slam on the brakes to avoid you and take my team mate out in the process? You went off, lost track position and still thought you had a right to maintain your place - I'm not gonna back off to allow you to regain your position from your mistake.
I suggest you read the series rules:
"If a competitor leaves the track at any time, it is advised that extra caution is taken not to impede other drivers when rejoining, please check and look before rejoining the track. Common courtesy stipulates that a driver in a dangerous position on the circuit should alert oncoming drivers of their position to avoid additional incidents, (essentially the yellow flag rules.)"

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
I never said you had to let me back though and you never had to slam on your brakes as I left room on the right for you, the point im trying to make is two cars would have made it thought that turn. You never once braked, you only lifted off the throttle. I was still there and you just came to the outside of the track and took me off.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
Damn right I didn't brake, it was my corner. My only error of judgement was expecting the other driver to drive in a professional way and adhere to the rules - if you leave the track you shouldn't be forcing other cars offline when you rejoin, let alone then trying to out brake them on the outside of a narrow off camber corner and then complain that they didn't give you room.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
I've watched the video quite a few times...from what I see, the infraction happened long after Franchitti went off and back on the track. He barely even lost momentum going off and coming back on. He also didn't push Magic offline at all. Thats obvious in the replay. Looks to me from my replay and the video posted that Magic lost traction and slid into Franchitti. When he did come back on without any contact you were both neck and neck so the race continued as if he never went off. If anyone thinks that Franchitti should have slowed down or sat still to let both Jag's by is wrong. I'm sorry but this is a race. After leaving and re-entering the track everything was fine. Sorry Magic but you pushed wide on that corner forcing Franchitti back off track. It was also you're responsibility to know where your competitors are on the track. Franchitti was right next to you. Neither of you can legitimately say that it was your corner. Unfortunitely for some, when a video gets posted you will get the opinions from who sees the video as posting a video in a public forum means a public response is wanted.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
What the video doesn't show is I lost momentum in the previous corner adjusting my car to avoid his car coming back onto the track, that's impeding another car which is explicitly prohibited by the rules. I drive to the rules, if I go off track I'll stay wide until its safe to rejoin not try to 'get away' with it by crowding or impeding other competitors who have kept their cars on the track. Nordschliefe is a fast, narrow and dangerous circuit and that sort of driving is unacceptable in my opinion.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
And race 2 last night was a complete farce because of numerous examples of drivers not respecting track limits or the rules regarding rejoining the track safely.

No argument Trash, just a discussion (in the 'discussion' thread) about racing etiquette.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
Magic you even went flying off the track, into a barrier and rejoined infront of me and I had to check up for that.

Re: TORA GT S9 - General Discussion
I can see it from both of your views.
If i was Chaddy, i'd have done the exact same thing and hung it out on the outside, but, if i was Mark, i wouldn't have been so kind, i'd have used the whole of the road, left him no room, and made sure 100% it was my corner.
More of a racing incident in my opinion...
