Can there be a session that takes places throughout the evening times or such for us on the central time and to the west coast?
Agreed.
A time a little later on the weekdays or having one on the weekend would be great.
I tried putting the times back to 10 our time to try catch you guys, however I do want to get some that are more friendly for you time zones. I will need some guys from the US to do hosting for us if this is the case, so what we can do is run all the qualifying times at both 8pm BST every night and also at 8pm CST (Central) which would be an hour each side for East and West right?
What would be the best time for you guys? I would need willing hosts for this, or we can at least do it twice at 8pm CST to catch you guys.
if you need help richy i can hold a qualifying session on thursday and friday evenings up untill about 3am GMT dont know if this helps the guys in the US but im generally up pretty late those evenings.
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
I could also help out late at night in the US.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Depending on the time, I could help host it as it will probably been morning for me, just depends on 2 things: time n day and if I get live
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Looking forward to this if I get to race lot if interest and a lot of teams, going for two lobbies now!

There are 6 teams registered for the Vette. I'm not going to tell some of them that after saying the car list was open that they can't use it and have to pick another car and anger them or put them off from racing. 6 teams is higher than I hoped, and I don't want it going any higher so that is now the limit.
Hailfire97x wrote:I've got a few questions...
1. Is qualifying THIS week or NEXT week?
2. Can I run each day, where the fastest lap counts, or must I announce before the session "this session will be the one that counts"?
Qualifying starts next week. You can only run one day, and as many team members from your team must try to qualify as well. We'll be doing it like we did with the ISCC, where you can only run in the one session that you nominate yourself for and we MAY keep the times quiet until the Friday night after the last session to add some suspense.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Can I borrow as many people as I can for a quick video round Le Mans now?
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Just reading through the thread here, and it made me think with reference to cars and multiple drivers.
Why not have a separate list of numbers for the endurance races where driver changes are needed? You could run the list for the whole season or - probably better, considering drivers may switch each race - include the required number on the entry?
Just a thought for improving future races.

I'd be willing to help with qualifying as well.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Alright, after an accidental compete-retune of the car (only went in for gears, changed everything else) I got right where I was before. Only this time, it was without drafting.
Looks promising.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Just out of curiosity.
Is it possible to drive a stint with the other cars, eventhough you didn't sign up in a team?
Because first I signed up for this, but then decided to withdraw because I'm not sure if I can do it. Still like to do a stint if possible.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
You can either ask the current entrants who have less that 4 drivers if they are willing to give you a space, or you could just sign up as an individual driver and do as many stints as you feel comfortable with or which are possible.

Exactly right. I was a last minute entry (or the day!) to the Sebring one last year, all on my own and think I did two stints. I didn't win of course, but it was cool to be part of the race.
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Can someone please make something clear for me.
TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - Rules and Regulations:
Acura ARX-01b - PI 996 - Restrictors are 1 up from stock, Front Tire Width 330, Rear Tire Width 370 and 3rd Party Wheels
TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - Car List:
Acura ARX-01b - PI 994 - Restrictors are 1 up from stock, Front Tire Width 330, Rear Tire Width 370 and 3rd Party Wheels
This is only one example but there are more like the Lola's.
What is the correct list?

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
To make things even less clear for you, I would say both are correct. The key point in both of those lines is the "Restrictors are 1 up from stock, Front Tire Width 330, Rear Tire Width 370 and 3rd Party Wheels". The minor PI variance is most likely due to the 3rd party wheels.Racert46 wrote:Can someone please make something clear for me.

So, if you want to use the lightest rims which gives you a PI of 996, this is allowed.
Alternatively, if you wanted to use heavier rims because of a stylistic choice, this is also allowed.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
As all the little things are helping to go faster, I have to see if we can get our car to the 996 range then as we are now at 994............
The chrome wheels i knew, but i was not expecting different PI numbers in different lists.
Thanks for the reply's.

Sorry, I didn't realize there was a car list in the rules and regs thread. Both are now the same.
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Why are all qualifying sessions on during the week and the times set are work hours for all North Americans. I can't make any of them and Bullet may have problems also
