Also, I will be posting a Le Mans Driver briefing on Friday night with basics of the event.

Are all qualifying sessions being live streamed?

No. Tonight I shall be qualifying, and Richy isn't back from work until Friday.

However, Fridays UK qually will be streamed, and the US qually on friday is pencilled in to be streamed too!

So my team mates won't b able to watch me? Thank god for that! That would've ended up as, don't even wanna think bout it

Well, as long as you don't ruin my lap, then it wont go onto TORA TV

Easy, turn the contrast and brightness down on your TV, get a couple of little flashlights and point them at the screen. Job done

Dammit, spun my car on the warm-up lap and got damage. NOOB!!

Still got a 4:00.787 for the Charity Team. But I think I could have been a second faster without damage. Had 14% front damage and 6% sides damage.

Considering we don't have the best car in the LMP1 field, I'm really thrilled with my laptime in qualifying. Roll on Saturday!!

Can't believe I rolled it on the very first flying lap, first time i've ever rolled it at Le Mans. Did a 4.00.1 five mins before the start as well. What a noob

That qualifying session summed up, was a farce. Collisions on with those people i just attempted to qualify with was a joke.

I had people in P1 cars race up behind me just before the Porsche Curves, so i slow down to allow them to pass ready for the next lap, but no, they decide to weave around amongst themselves, so i think [Censored] it i'll just carry on, only to find they're back up to speed again two corners later and have now dirtied the lap i am about to start. Not to mention people in P1's on a dirty lap, and even though i'm clean and exiting the Mulsanne corner down the straight still feel the need to 'warm their tyres' and get right up my arse and draft me.

Managed one clean lap in 45 minutes. I was considerate to everybody i came across around the track, and the only time it was paid back to me was by AngelKristensen.

Beanz, I apologise for the time I did that early on, I totally forgot the last sector was before Arnage. That one was totally my fault. Sorry

Its no biggie, its only qually and we've got 24hr to get through. I don't think qualifying is going to really affect anyone's race with that in mind.

I'm afraid to say that I had the exact same experience on Monday. GT's were extremely courteous to LMP drivers (as thanked by Magictap at the end) but the spacing of the LMP cars meant that every 2 laps I was caught, and I was always caught in the final sector, so the clean time I set was literally the only non-drafted lap I did.

In my case Rollin InAn STi had already set a time faster than I could possibly do for our team, so it didn't have a huge effect on our team, but on a personal level I found it deeply frustrating.

I also agree with Hainesy in some respects. It's a very long race, and although qualifying is important for setting you in a lobby of similarly-skilled opponents, it's not a race-breaker as we'll all be racing each other across the three lobbies.

I didn't really have any problems and I was in the same lobby as he was. My only problem spots came when I was rolling on a super fast lap and I came up to Diablo or another one of the GT cars, I did everything in my power to stay off the draft but still as close to the race line as possible, but coming out of tertre rouge and mulsanne corner I still ended up right on the bumpers of the GT cars. Fact of the matter it's part of the race and while we all don't like it we have to deal with it - I ran a 3:28:xxx and im not complaining.... if anyone should be the one who is angry with their end result it should be myself.

I really do apologize to the GT drivers if I did anything wrong. I only passed on straights, and on two laps I stayed well behind and clear of GT cars through the Porsche Curves so their laps could stay clean.

At the same token if you hold off to long you risk a P1 car catching up to you, it's a weird thing being respectful to the GT cars while still trying to get your best time possible. I think it could have been much worst

I got lucky with that. I started first and was quick and clean from the get go. 3:28.7, 3:23.7, 3:22.8 for the first three laps, so I built a comfortable gap over the P1 behind me.

lucky, i had 2 chances at clean laps, one was cut off by a prototype, the other was made dirty by my own accord, over cooked it into and over corrected out of ford cincaines, but the prototype drivers did well from my perspective, yes, they did dirty a few of my laps, but it didn't matter as i was behind pace anyway so i'm not complaining on that, i agree with Beanz a bit though, round porsche it was a bit poor, but it's a tight section of track that is hard to manage when 2 or 3 cars of different speeds/experince are entering them. I myself would like to applogies to anyone that i 'cut off' or dirtied their laps, that's only my second time qualifying and second time in multiclass, so i'm still trying to find my feet, so my appologies to anyone that i may have 'impared' from getting their desired time, thank you CMGraphix for running that, did a great job and there seemed to be no lag issues from where i was so thankyou.
