And heading into Indy horsing through the trees I had a mass zone out time 6 laps in a row, everything went silent, couldn't hear the car, chat, tv or even my own thoughts, it was just the road flashing bright and dark as I passed through the trees shadows, it was weirdghostly lee1991 wrote:I got laughed at because at 5am 4 hours into my stint I was that tired I was seeing beams over and beside my car and I also swear I seen a seagull quickly fly over my bonnet lol
I think alot of people suffered like, apparently one person fell asleep lol
Re: Thank you, TORA
no idea mate , I nearly pee'd myself laughing when I heard though ( not to wish them any bad luck or anything) but from my point of view it was funny
Re: Thank you, TORA
I know this is a relatively late word of thanks, I wanted to keep my thanks short on the live stream, however I want to thank those people who were part of the commentary "booth", Simon, Duncan, Matt, Richy, Ian, Chris, Connor, and Shane. also specific thanks to WCM Outlaw for his reports "from the pits", the same for Chris Ford for sounding a bit like Matt and being present in the early hours with me and Simon, Matt Magictap for providing some live communication from behind the wheel. Also to Louis who wasnt present in the booth, but was part responsible for getting me into the TORA GT commentary booth back towards the end of last year.
I may have been the person with the laziest role of the race weekend, some moments that I think were great, trying my best to get across bordering on the frailty of a lesser spotted robby nock in early june, am re-watching again, having not been present for the start of the race, and also picking up on the silly things that were said:

Apparently it was Drake Hellspawn who passed out and nailed the wall. While it cost him a 5th place finish, it made me laugh
But yeah, I would like to give my thanks to the lobby hosts, the reliable teammate I had in the #92 (RedDirtBandit), the guys of the #93 who salvaged something for my team (AndyT306 and Flyin Mikey J), the #9 duo who kept hoping for a good finish all race (BloodYCaiN and TheOneNamedJack), and the crew of the ill-fated #91 SRT-Two (Drake Hellspawn, mopar4t4, and xOverdrive99x).
All I have to say before I go is to expect another effort for Britcar!

Re: Thank you, TORA
My eyes were completely bloodshot and any significant amount of light caused them to sting. My trigger fingers had been cut open by the skin getting caught in the gaps between the trigger and controller casing.
Yet despite this, it was a lot of fun and I'm already counting down the days till the (hopefully) next 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Our race may not be as physical as the real one but by god we have determined racers!

Re: Thank you, TORA
Thank you again to the TORA staff for this great event.
After my third stint, my right index finger was swollen twice the size of my left. I had no feeling in it.

That was a great conversation. The old classics are always the best!!
