and yeah i would pull a siccy, but then i would have to get a helicopter out here to pick me up then travel doen the road...then recover, then travel back up and get a helicopter out...

Note: In January I am getting a DSLR, which means I will be able to finally take a mix of lenes or just a lens to any Automotive events. Also I might be getting photography passes next year.

I was you two that met each other at thruxton that got me thinking of the idea of us all going to a race or somethin. It would be a good day out...

When me and Matt went to the BGT this year, it took us a while to find each other. Then again I did catch Matt at a wrong time.

Well the Britcar is only 6hrs next year so MEH! Think you can correct me!?!?! lol

Dunno about going to BH. I like to go to stuff I can do in a day and NOT be completely wrecked by the end.
Shame BGT aint at Thruxton... guessing thats something to do with the Lambo pump problem.....

Goodwood FOS 09 - July
Motor Expo 09 "London" - This event has free entry.
British Motorshow 2009 "London" - I have a feeling this will happen next year.

Free entry, but an expensive train ticket

Dunno about motor shows, they don't have the same appeal to me as a real race.

I would love to go to the Race of Champions nect year tho. I wanted to go to it this year, but i can't.

TBH i have never really paid much attentin to Goodwood, or thought about going, but it would be a good laugh heh heh

Train tickets depend on what day you go in my view, other then that I am a maybe on ROC 09.

Mainly because when I went to ROC 07, there entry rules were a bit strict. Even they had signs outside saying no motorbike helmets or cameras allowed inside, but still I only just got my camera in after a bit of talking. Other then that, if you are un-decided on Motor Expo 09 then well it runs from these dates:

8th June - 14th of June

U can;t take cameras into RoC? I wonder what all the little flashes of lights in the stands were then during the event?

ooo those pics are lush mate. what kinda of camera do you use to take them, i assume it is expensive I want to get a good camera for takin pics of my new car, my digital one is ****

Well I still saw a No Camera's sign, then again maybe Wembley only allow it at a mix of events.

It is a FinePix S9500 so nothing fancy, but when I got it 2 years back it got £300-400. However the DSLR I am looking to get in January is £706, that includes a free lens.

Other then that, I expect to spend £70-£150 on extra's.

I use to think megapixels was the main reason, when buying a camera. However in my view now, the most important thing when buying a camera is the optics like the lenses. The same can also be said about the optical zoom not digital zoom.

one final thing tho, i know that mpix isn't everything, but it helps and i also know that digital zoom is terrible lol! You still haven't answered my question tho

Going to see the f1 at silverstone lol thas the only thing im going to see tho not sure if ill go to any BTCC or GT probs be racing all next year in either a single seater league or some sorta proper car league lol GT sorta thing (just not as quick or gt like lol)
