TASCAR 2012 - Round 2 - Road America - 28th July 2012

Congrats to Insanity on the win. Some good racing action today with you guys. Had to push hard at the end as Rollin was starting to get too close for comfort.

Had a blast, ran my fastest lap to catch hailfire there at the end. Good race guys.

I was definitely reeling you in Mikem, but when u started pulling away again, i started pushing too hard to keep up. Managed a time 0.010 faster than my qually time, so i was at least happy with that, and was consistently in the 2:08.3's as i was slowly creeping up on you Mikem.

if i would of been more consistent with my 2:07s i might of had a show at catching more than Hailfire... oh well, packing up and getting ready for tomorrow

I didn't lag into you GunDaM. Stonewall breaked early, causing you to break early witch caused me to run into the back of you, as Francittie ran into the back of me. It was just FUBAR, and I'm considering bowing out, cause I've been damaged in the first few laps of both races. Don't think it's worth it. :/

Took my time getting up to speed and really ended up were i should of. Id like to damage turned off again i really would it worked so well the last two seasons, not having ago, just think its better.

Like Miranda, last week I got put in the wall on lap 6 of race 1 and this week lag destroyed my car before I could complete the first lap. If I'm around the house next Saturday I'll try one more race. Did the lag continue even though I left the lobby? Just curious.

was everyone lagging on your screen Dewey? just curious, because it might have been something on your end. i had a similar incident last year for the ISCC race @ Road Am. cannot remember if it was after the early snow storm in October, or Hurricane Irene, but it was the sunday afterwards. i qualified ok. but come race time, i was seeing everyone lagging on my screen, and didnt think that it was just a coincidence that everyone was having the same problems, and it was actually me. i dnf'ed the car to avoid ruining anyone's race. if i recall, i think i might have also been able to pick up 'some' audio from the oter guys saying i was lagging quite badly.

Yeah, It very well coulda' been at my end. all the cars were flying around. After I left the race I checked XBOX status which was UP; my web pages loaded slower than normal even though I have Cox cable internet. I had never experience lag like that before. At the beginning while in the lobby prior to the race audio was good. Then when were doing the parade laps, etc. It went to crap and could only hear minimal broken audio. We were having a lightning storm during that time which probably caused the problem. But did other people experience lag in yesterdays race?

I only saw two other drivers lagging for me besides you Dewey.

Rollin' sent me his tune he used at Road America, I loaded it onto my #95 Monte Carlo and voila'..... it didn't change my times a hell of a lot! Got about a half second quicker. So..... I guess I'm like the underfunded teams in NASCAR. I just don't have the same equipment (read that driving skills) as the front runners. I'll be a start & park on the road courses
