I did a 2:26.906 in explosiveSams DTM league around the track, and that was good enought for the pole and race win, so I expect from myself a quick time. not sure how much of a difference there is between the two cars.
Re: V8 Supercars Camino Viejo de Montserrat 1000km **New Important info**
just did 4 laps, stcok tune, 2:48.7, can go quicker

Re: V8 Supercars Camino Viejo de Montserrat 1000km **New Important info**
I made the following suggestion in the Britcar feedback thread:
"Lag out is a big problem as this could destroy all the team efforts for the overall ranking if it happens early in a stint. Just a quick thought (not sure if it makes sense): instead of counting the miles until lag out, a lagged out driver may get assigned a pre-defined number of miles, which could be e.g. 75% of the average miles pe stint for this car class (of course if already driven more miles then the real number counts). This way it's still a noticable loss, but would keep the chance to fight for top positions."
Maybe it's worth to try this in the V8 Camino endurance race.

Announcement for Serpent Racing's entrance:
Hello again, and boy do I got some news for YOU!
Today comes the announcement for Serpent Racing's entrance into the TORA Camino 1000km Endurance event. First off, I would like to thank our partners at Research in Motion and General Motors of Canada for making it all possible.
Our entry into this inaugural event will be sponsorted by Research in Motion's BlackBerry Product and will be racing in the V8 Supercar homologated Holden HSV Commodore.
The car will be driven by mopar4t4 and one other driver, which is still up for grabs, so messege mopar4t4 if you want an oppertunity to drive it.
Good luck and see you next month!

Mopar, you made a fantastic paint again.
Friedrich, where did you find a shortcut of the circuit?
I am now in the 243's but to find 5 seconds......?
Like Modafaya yersterday said in the party in the beginning very skeptical about the car and track but the more I test it, the more I like it!

I've looked at it and I have a suggestion.
You said 1 warm up , 36 laps race, 1 lap getting the times, 15 minutes waiting.
Why not doing 1 warm up, 36 laps race and finish with the race timer at 10 minutes?
The contestants who not finish within the ten minutes, get the ten minutes and 1 lap penalty on the leaderboard.
Foot suggested something about lag and 75%.
You can also say that when you lag out, you get the distance time of the winner + 10 minutes and 3 laps penalty?
That way, like foot said, you are not out of winning this event.
You want stints of 2 hrs I guess?
1,5 Hrs racing, 10-15 minutes waiting for contestants and then 15 minutes for the next stint.
1 warm up takes 3 minutes
36 laps 2.40 takes 96 minutes
This is 99 minutes and this is a really fast drive.....
