Re: TORA Britcar 24 Hours of Silverstone - General Discussion
^ Not too late yet, as I haven't even yet tuned a single car for this event, and am pretty sure there are others who haven't yet. But it would force race organizers to recalculate the PIs of all the cars.

Is it as we would need to rebalance the whole car list.
And as you can see, it's large haha

Re: TORA Britcar 24 Hours of Silverstone - General Discussion
Something that hit me about the stint length... the 24 Hours of LeMans had 2 hour stints (1:50 to be precise) and EVERYONE that participated all came out of it saying that was the most intense and/or FUN they had ever had in all of Forza.
Why take a chance at messing that up with "change"???

I agree, please don't add an extra hour to each stint it will make it a lot more dull!

I am all for the 2.45hr stints, let try it. The endurance part will then play an even bigger factor in the overall results. Stay out of trouble, keep it clean, and on the track. Can't wait!!!

Re: TORA Britcar 24 Hours of Silverstone - General Discussion
i like the longer stints but wouldn't that make it weird trying to plan for 4 man teams?
normally if you did 2hr stints each of the 4 driver's could pop off 3 stints.
2hr x 3 stints = 6 x 4 drivers = 24 hrs
now im looking at
3hr x 2 stints = 6 x 4 drivers = 24 hrs
i guess you could argue that by doing this you would have to plan to have your fastest driver on the track when the race is still close rather than just throw him in somewhere... let me know your feedback?

Re: TORA Britcar 24 Hours of Silverstone - General Discussion
I still vote for 3hr stints (2hr 45). Get a true endurance challenge out of it rather than a shorter stint which will feel like an ISCC race, but with a different class of cars this time. This is the TORA Endurance Championship afterall

Re: TORA Britcar 24 Hours of Silverstone - General Discussion
The thing is I was struggling with the 2 hour stints at Le Mans, fingers aching as well as my back creaking (i sit forward with elbows resting on my legs). And that had the Mulsanne straight where I could stretch out a bit whereas this is Silverstone with no let up. Might just be me coz i'm an old fogey at 38 but Le Mans worked so well I can't see a reason to change it.

dis. I did a night-time 2x stint at Le Mans...not pretty, I gorged myself on the twinkies in the 3rd hour (7th Hour overall for me). Only wreck in my 8hrs.

+2 becuase if it's only 2 hours we wont have to pit, and that's no fun, well it's still fun, but there's no strategy, just get out there and stay in front, so im all for 3 hours!!!!IRT Trash wrote:+1Rollin InAn STi wrote:I still vote for 3hr stints (2hr 45). Easy way to make cars pit in a 2 hour stint:
Rules and Regulations
All competitors must pit at least once in a stint
