TASCAR 2012 - Round 8 - Motegi SS - 8th September 2012

Qualifying Starts @ 3pm EDT / 8pm BST
Race Day Starts @ 4pm EDT / 9pm BST

Qualifying Procedure:
- Qualifying Starts @ 3pm EDT/8pm BST. Make sure to be online 1/2 hour before, as Qualifying Lobby will open @ 2:30pm EDT/7:30pm BST.
- Standard 4 lap lobby settings. One Driver will Qualify at a time. Once on Lap 4, please pull off and park on the bottom apron of the back straight, so lap times can be taken once all drivers are finished. You get 2 Flying laps, Clean laps take presidence over Dirty laps.
- Damage will be Limited, Collisions set to OFF.


Race Day Format:
- Race Starts @ 4pm EDT/9pm BST, barring connections issues.
- Race Length is 100 Laps, split into 2-50 lap 'segments'. (thanks Turn10 )
- ONE Mandatory Pit Stop per 'segment'
- Damage will be set to Limited

Caution/Safety Car Speed: 70mph
- Safety Car/Caution
In The case of a Safety Car is called, DO NOT brake to get down to Safety Car speed. this could cause chaos. Let off the throttle and let the car slow down on its own. During the Safety Car period, Everyone forms up Single-File until everyone has caught up, then the field should reform into 2-by-2 formation for the restart. NO PASSING BEFORE THE START/FINISH LINE
- During Safety Car
While under the Safety Car, drivers may pit and use their 'Mandatory' pit for that session/stint. Anyone who may be a lap down can get a lap back (but not those involved in bringing out the Safety Car).
---A Safety Car can be called up to the penultimate lap of the Race, and thusly the final lap will end under caution, and go into "Green-White-Checkered" rules once all competitors are back to the main lobby. If there are not enough laps to have a "Green-White-Checkered" under the Scheduled distance, the final laps can be run at a faster pace to complete the laps, BUT NO PASSING IS ALLOWED!!!

Congrats BloodyCaiN for another win! think you and I had couldve had a real good bought for the win, but i sorta 'hildebrand'ed it out of '4' when i was coming up to i believe wins642003, and got the aero-understeer right into the wall (33% front aero and engine damage, but repaired that in my pitstop)

Looks like the title fight could come down to the very end.

Ugh... two restarts with a clean car for me, the third try: Crunk spins, I try to avoid, yet get collected and have 100% rear aero damage for the whole 2nd race. Too bad I voted for the first restart, as i escaped that one unharmed. I'd have most likely fared much better.

Managed to remain pretty unscathed in both races, not counting the 1st lap race 2.
Was holding my own in 5th when my crew chief said I should pit now. That was the worst decision he ever made! I should've pitted when the leaders did, and check out my who gives a rats _ss if he gets out quick or not pit crew.



Monday my crew chief and pit crew will be looking for another job. When you're an underfunded team and having a good run, you expect everyone to step up to the plate. Hope they enjoy Ramen Noodles and hot dogs!

Before I forget, sorry for bumping the green car towards the end of the race, wasn't intentional we weren't racing for position.

First race was the best race i had on TORA - So much fun, but the 2ND race didn't really do it for me

After watching that 2ND replay, I am really sorry to Wins642003 it was my fault, really silly mistake I made.

its cool bg i was getting hit from everything but the pace car.i am sry to mark thoe after being beat around like a pinball i was a little more less wanting to give up my lap too. i dont feel i tryed to hold him up but i sure wasent gunna roll over play dead at that point i drove as hard as possible to keep on the lead lap i was banking on a yellow to keep my hopes alive.congrats to the winner..bloody cane .all thoe im not sure how you dnf 1st seg and get in too the next race anyway.but you drove a great race anyhow had fun all and happy birthday to the birthday guy

Did another good meeting for myself, felt 3rd was the very best I could do as the pace of Cain & Mark was way to fast lol.

Did a wee test of Silverstone and I hope im quick
