Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Is it possible for me to enter this series, despite it having started? Also, is it possible for me to enter as a privateer (as this is my first week at TORA, I'm not in a team yet, but I am working on a car).
Finally, is there a numberplate for this series (door/bonnet sticker) that I need to get?

Hey
You can still sign up and your fine racing yourself. There is no numberbox however you must display your TORA race number

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
How i am in the lead of this championship i'll never know. Mediocre finishes to be best in a car that i'm struggling a lot with.
Unlucky on Tubbi's part really, as he should be walking it to tell the truth!

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Tonight's results are final. I dont have access to the jtcc table to sort that
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
That was intense! Thanks for hosting tonight, Chucky.
I hate that track now... I used to like it, but couldn't get a lap time anywhere near the front runners, even within 3 seconds would have been nice.
Not sure about my TORA future though, I found the racing to be pretty stressful, but do feel a sense of achievement that I completed the JrTCC series. I think I raced cleanly with no complaints (except my Grosjean moment in the very first race that caused a rare TORA restart, sorry Aero!).
I am finding that I don't have time to practice enough to get better, but everyone must experience the thrill of trying to race cleanly around a track with 11 other people at least once in their lives!
Again, thanks for organising this series, I have enjoyed it (mostly).

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
That's the good thing about TORA, it caters for all skill levels, from some of the fastest on Forza, to the slower guys, from the guys who are killer at tuning, and those who don't have time to practice at all.
Glad you enjoyed, it doesn't get any better!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Each of the events for jtcc I have tuned the Xbox on at 7 and applied the waiting tune for the car do a couple of laps then get the lobby ready for q. So I don't do any practise at all really. Just the tune helped me out lots tonight
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
I'm finding that the tune isn't helping me at all, it is my lack of track knowledge showing through and my panic when other drivers get close to me. I try to stay ahead if I am faster, but if they are all over my rear end I am leaving some space for them to pass without contact (and without making it too easy, I hope). I don't think I have quite the right instincts at the moment, I'm too concerned about not hitting anyone, even if it means I go too wide in the corners. I need to enjoy the lighter side of forza a bit more before taking part in any other series, and I could do with learning to use that clutch thing too! At least I know where my skill level fits in to TORA, not quite at the bottom, but not far off. This experience has been great, thanks to everyone who has made me feel welcome

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
You should return for tic next year. Stuff like gt and iscc is a lot harder, we should race some nights as I know where your coming from there as I was just like that, still not fast but am faster then I used to be
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Guinness Matt: what may help is racing more often, as no amount of single car practice can help one learn how to race close and clean with others. When I first got here, I was dreadful... and that was just six months ago.
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
I don't practice alone, don't worry I just think I need to be comfortable racing closely with a manual clutch before my next TORA event. More practice definitely required.
