Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
I can only make the last 2 meetings so expect to see an M&M car appear at some stage, or if anyone has a spare seat I may just jump into it.
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
I want to be involved somehow so I might just make tunes and/or paints for this
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
its ok, I would just do this as a business persay. Not racing but supplying, like Lola or Dallara do
EDIT: I put up a tune for the 500 and the Twingo, but I suck at racing fwd cars, could somebody run some laps with them and see if they are actually any good? note tune is for Tsukuba

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Did I miss a standard numberbox for this, or do we just run with our numbers visible?

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Had a blast today, esp in Q and R1... R2 not so much
My second consecutive (and second career) TORA front row start, and a solid second in R1 was somewhat overshadowed with hobbling a crippled Aygo to the finish in R2.
Sure was fun listening to Beanz going on about not being able to keep up with me, a drastic change as I never made the A Lobby in TCC last season.
I'd like to thank the organizers for putting on this series, and my brilliant crew chief for providing me with such an awesome machine.

Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Was hoping the full crew of Supplied By: Serpent Racing cars participated. but one of 'em won B lobby, so thats something to cheer about!
Re: Jr TCC General Discussion
Well, that was a helluva lot of fun! Good to come back to a lobby win and lobby second.
Sorry mopar4t4, I didn't use your tune, I used my own. I'd already been practicing with it, and didn't have enough time to get used to yours.
Was disappointed with my time being nullified from qualy due to the racing line incident. Personally I think racing line should be off anyway, real racing doesn't have big arrows on the road telling you to brake, so why should we? As such, I never use the braking line. I learn the braking points. I set a 1.05.299, good enough for 6th in A lobby, only to lose it when the session was rerun. Best I could do second time around was a 1.05.760, so I was punished for NOT using a racing line.
Nevertheless, had a great two races in B lobby. Started 2nd in race 1, quickly got into the lead and started building a gap. Got a great rythym going, was hitting my braking points and apex' nicely, then disaster struck. No, not my tyres going off. No, not damaging my engine. No, not batteries running out on my controller. The disaster was that was the precise moment the missus decided to have a domestic.
After losing a decent lead, I came under pressure from CQR Aero, who looked like he'd got the hang of his car. The pressure was intense, and not easy to deal with when you've got a moaning woman thumping about beside you. Anyway, I held on - just - and took the win by thousandths of a second. Great racing from Chris and Andy to keep me honest, another lap and I'd have been done.
After moving downstairs and switching to my other Xbox, I started race 2 on the back of the grid. That was a bit nuts for the first few laps, and contact was happening all over the place. Managed to work through the pack to 2nd, with CQR Aero pressuring me again. Half the race we were bumper to bumper, and again it came down to a few thousandths of a second to cross the line.
Took some pics from Race 2, will stick them in media thread. Forgot to save Race 1, so if anyone has it I'd appreciate a copy!

awww . I'm not sure if Dewey used mine either to be quite honest. He had to go and do something else before he had a chance to run my tune when we last spoke.
