Na id say Eurotech and WSR will be there too. I wouldn't be shocked if Jordan wins the title this season.

lol, I'm still catching up on Speedtv! I watched the Silverstone rounds (20-22?) and that was amazing. Can't wait for the new cars to roll out. It's like watching a pack of terriers going around the track nipping at eachother the whole time.

I think Motorbase will be strong too, that NGTC Focus was finding some serious pace as were their two drivers

If that list is the final confirmed one, that's 26 cars for 2013 so far, 4 former BTCC champions and quite a few potential ones, 9 manufacturers and 12 models represented by NGTC, and with the new rules on tyres, revised NGTC specs and boost jiggery-pokery being reworked, could this be the best BTCC year ahead for the last decade?

Can't wait for the season to start! Im going to Knockhill this year so that'll be fun

Oh god, he was on those tapes?!

I had a massive grounding in classic Rallycross as a young boy thanks to such tapes (Murray Walker's Motorsport Spectacular included... great stuff.).

I'm watching the first Clipsal race, and I'm thinking, the BTCC needs street races.

A race in each of the UK's largest and most important regional cities (Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow) would be a fantastic addition to the series.

I don't know about Birmingham and Manchester, but Glasgow has plenty of space for a temporary circuit out by the Hydro and the SECC... The Hydro would look great lit up for a BTCC night race...

...there were complete hot air from a bufoon rumours way back when of a champcar street race around what was the "city of manchester" stadium, now the Etihad...

The Majority of the route that was the Superprix layout in Brum still has the armco strut sockets in the ground, but there's probably no chance of returning there.

I doubt that there will be a piece of public road that would be "quiet" these days...

Anyone who's been to the Isle o Mann will agree racing cars there is a nightmare, roads are lumpy, tight and narrow, might as well just be a parade lap.

How about Milton Keynes, they can race alongside the boy racers.

Puts me in mind of a french film called Taxi 2 where some french guy in a peugeot 406 taxi overtakes a 206 rally car on stage he manages to get into, that film is funny and the car stuff is excellent if you give it a go.
