Max Chilton...
I hate Max Chilton so much. He's an absolute fanny.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I agree. Can think of a couple of British drivers more deserving of a F1 seat than him.
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
dosent matter how much you deserve a seat these days as we know money talks.
Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
AON will be all over that car next season.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I'd rather have seen James Calado in F1 next year as to Chilton, he was very impressive in his first season in GP2 this season! But to be fair to Max he had a decent season in GP2 and has tested for Marussia, can't see him being there for more than one season though which seams to have become tradition there with Di Grassi, D'Ambrosio and Pic!

I always thought she wasn't into cars..
Oh well, not a bad announcement, especially considering that I still have nightmares of Jim Rosenthal and Tony Jardine.
I'll probably be ditching Sky for 2013 anyway. Bring on the beeb!

Not bad? Nicky, it's great news. She is known for her bikes but Suzi's always been into her cars as well. Now I can see Sky Sports F1 viewers ratings plummit now!! HA HA HA HA HA HA
Let me put it this way. Suzi Perry or Georgie Thompson? Not a difficult choice really

Right, calm it you, I know how much you fancy Suzi Perry.
I doubt Sky's ratings will plummet. If people are paying for Sky, they're going to watch it, because it's pretty well produced and presented, and mainly because it's costing them a fortune every month. I doubt Suzi Perry will seduce viewers across!
It's all about Natalie Pinkham in my eyes.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I prefered Sky's coverage this year compared to the Beebs. The BBC is too 'family friendly' I remember Jake Humphrey tweeting a picture of him, DC & EJ wearing onesies & I just facepalmed.
And Brundell & Crofty & way better than Ben Edwards & DC in my opinion...
EDIT: Natalie Pinkham is better than everyone woman working at the BBC combined

Hmm.. Ben Edwards is very good, and I really dislike David Croft with all of his ridiculous analogies and semi-puns.
Brundle is good though.

Damm right I do! lol
For three good reasons:
1: She's beautiful
2: She does a fantastic job at presenting. Also, she's very energetic & enthusiatic about motorsport and her gadgets. Just think of Moto GP & The Gadget Show and people will know what I mean.
3: She comes from the same city as I do which is Wolverhampton
At the end of the day, opinions will always be divided, especially as to which broadcaster does the best job of covering F1.
Earlier this year when Sky gave their customers free access to sky sports for the weekend, I watched the german GP coverage and I was disappointed. To me, it felt like watching the BBC's show except you pay to view it. And where did they get the idea of using "Just Drive" by Alistair Griffin? Hmmmmm..........
I'm not gonna say anymore, but that's just my opinion.

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I think the BBC would struggle to beat sky in the F1 presenters category tbh. While i admit Simon lazenby and Georgie Thompson aren't great the rest are, sky have a whole host of ex and current racing drivers.
The service is better too, you get to watch every session over every racing weekend of the season with good in-depth coverage. something i'm pretty sure BBC don't provide their viewers with.

I have to say, even though i don't actually have Sky, they do do the better coverage in my opinion!

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I only watch on sky if beeb isnt live. Yes i miss out on natalie but other than that im happy.
I like to watch or listen to all sessions too.
Hate missing an incident in practice and then hearing about it each time the driver is in shot, stop rubbing it in

Re: 2013 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
wow its been almost 2 years now lets drop the sky bbc bull
I pay for sky f1 as I choose to you can choose to pay for it if you want or you just watch the bbc coverage, sky did nothing wrong want to blame some 1 then blame the bbc excs who thoughts a good idea to support a load of politically correct bull, you can write to the bbc trust who are the 1st point of contact if you are not happy but money rules these days so face it
so lets move on and actually discuss silly season

I really hope Sutil doesn't get the FI seat. Can't stand him. His girly run makes it even more annoying
