All have to agree with Richy here please don't antagonize each other. It's the driver choice to not take part in the season, and that decision doesn't deserve to be treated in such a way and remember we have a lot of new members so lets make this thread a bit more welcoming.

And I do understand what the problem at hand is, and I wish there was a safer answer. But since there's the potential to sandbag for an advantage (It has been threatened in the past by members of various clubs) they won't do it in a way that caters to heads-up racing, but instead only a 2-hour time-attack. Try to get your guys to race, and allow them to quit after the first race if it doesn't suit them, or in an extreme case have them fake a lag-out. That way it looks better for all involved.

I just had another go at trying out a tune. I thought my shifts sounded and looked funny. I was shifting from say, 5th down to 2nd in about the same length between two of the brake markers, sometimes shifting so fast that the gear(s) are skipped altogether.

Anyone else done that?

A long time ago already, the question of Hburi. And if I can remember it correctly ( I am not sure about this) Rogue gave a comment about this that there will be looked at when GT4 has a lot of less contestants.
Since this is the case, have you guys taken a look at this "problem"?

Ideally if classes with different entry numbers score for the same overall championship then the point system should be weighted by the number of cars in class. Some time ago I posted how this is done in VLN (link).

I understand your "weighting" system above, however I'm not sure on the fairness to the drivers in GT4 considering that it's effectively a seperate "race within a race" not to score maximum points for that class.

I may need to look at the points for the overall World Championship, but within the Endurance Series, they will not be changed. A class win will score 200pts etc.

Perhaps if people are concerned that GT4 will gain an unfair points advantage, they might like to change class and balance up the field a bit?!!!! (Joke) lol!

It's ok for GT Season 10 (also IMO it would be late to change something now). But still I suggest to think about a weighted point scheme if similar championship is done again in future.

Big day guys and lots of pitstops. Lots of excitement
Tune done and quite a demanding drive but im still playing about with pit strats.

Anyone else torn between 4-5 stops or is everyone already decided?
Its easy to think staying out will benefit but so easy to lose time after a point.

just done an enduro practice on my own, set to 41 laps Gt4

pitted on lap 13 with 62% wear
lap 26 with 64% wear
Finished at 1H 12mins with 73% wear

Fastest lap time was 1:42.890 before was 1:43.031 and then consistant low :43's untill wear gets to around the 35%.

Just tweaked gears slightly so i can take turn 1 in 5th and few other turns n a lower gear so now can do consistent high :42's
