N'wide wasn't "boring", just poorly officiated and saw some really bad "driving".

At least it was tandem drafting, as opposed to three wide traffic jam.

That was the one of the worst calls NASCAR has made bringing out the yellow on the final lap with the leaders 1000 or so feet from the finish. Kahne should have won that race. Any other time the yellow would have never been thrown.

in case you missed it, the penalties on the JGR #20 were reduced and mostly dropped Smile

instead of -50pts - its 12 and he keeps all the bonuses from the pole and winning the race... went from 12th to 4th in pts(before winning Saturday night)

JGR only lost 12 pts instead of 6 race suspension

#20 crew chief still fined, but was out for only one race instead of 6(wish was this last race)

Really looking forward to the future for Matt and his new team, everything is looking bright thus far Smile

Yesterday, NASCAR lost a true legend as Dick Trickle apparently took his own life. Crying or Very sad

While he didn't race Cup fulltime until late in his career (won Rookie of the Year at age 48) he amassed well over 1000 short track wins before he went "big time".

Wow FOX, great equipment you have causing a delay in the Coca-Cola 600. A nylon drive cable broke on the camera suspended over the front straight broke, falling onto the track and about 4 or 5 cars ran over it or had it go under the cars and wind up on the rear axle. NASCAR did do a good thing and grant the teams that were effected to repair the damage on the cars. The others that had no damage do a regular pitstop and let everyone restart where they were before the incident happened.

I think it's definitely narrower, there is a little bigger cushion there but wouldn't have those 5 wide diving restarts I don't think.
