Blainey smacked the wall this morning. First crash in the new car.

THEY ARE CARBON FIBRE NOW!!?!?!??? How did I miss that!?

J.Gordon also went for a spin (no crash) in the am session.

Speed doesn't have the final results up yet.

Contact between Marcos Ambrose and Dale Earnhardt Jr. near the front of the drafting pack caused the accident. Among the cars damaged were those of Kasey Kahne, Brad Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, Jeff Gordon, Regan Smith and Joey Logano.

a lot of teams have left the track because they only brought one car.

also a lot of teams nearly hit the 200mph mark in drafting pratice before the huge wreck.

They do need to see how these cars draft, as NASCAR will not let them get spread out all over the track (makes some fans angry when they're not all in one 43 car pack)

Thing is that NASCAR has implemented rule after rule to keep them from bump drafting as that leads to "tandems", so with all his experience, Dale Jr should have known better than to try it. I know he is "popular" but I still think the kid has a screw loose sometimes.

Yeah, pack racing is cool for a few laps but then it's just boring. I loved it when they started going tandem cuz that actually took skill, smarts, and luck... Pack racing is like highway traffic... Which I rock at haha

I actually quite liked Rusty Wallace.

I had a girlfriend who was a huge fan of his back when I was a bunch younger. Soon after we had broke up, they "did it" in his motorhome (she wasn't quite 18) The next week in Victory Lane @ Sonoma, Rusty is talking all about how much he misses his wife and kids. Rolling Eyes
