The 3rd TORA Wheldon 500

Shortly after the sad death of the great Dan Wheldon I started talking to Matt about doing a special race for us to remember him and this thread has been created to see whos interested for the 3rd Race.

We have had Scottish driver Nickyf1 winning the 1st ever Wheldon 500 with XPR Soundwave winning the 2nd race last year. The race is hosted at the famous Indy 500 oval, is set to no damage and is ran over 2 hours. For the last two races we have used the Acura ARX-02a and last year even maxed it out and were doing speeds of 220mph side by side!

I hope drivers take to this as the last two races have been good fun and a great way to remember a driver we all loved.

I could try doing this if the time and date are correct.

Im up for it pending timeslot and my ability to control the chosen car

they're surprisingly stable Newt, once at speed. Just don't hit the sticky grass.

I'd definitely want to take part in this. It's a fun race, it reminds me of the old CART races at Fontana with the Hanford device. Slingshot passes all over the shot.

FF did something like this and it was SOOO FUN, although they allowed bump drafting and that was a hoot ontop of all that.

what is the date and time of this race. ive met him in person and would love to do this. also what car is it going to be. i would like to try and come up with a paint for it
