Not at all mate, it's a discussion - there is no 'right' answer yet and I doubt we'll even know in 5 years time!

I don't believe a word of what is said on that site in fairness... I just want to see the cold hard specs and then get my hands on the actual units and see if they are well executed... And who am I kidding, I'm gonna have them both, probably on release day (or before)...Oh well...

Wii U sales went up cos they slashed the price (cos no one was buying it).

Sony stocks went up because they have interest from an investment group who are planning to buy up to a 1/5th of Sony's entertainment business, to raise much needed cash for the company.

Nothing is ever as it seems on the surface, the world is far more complex.

Well having people dressed as Chief and Marcus Phoenix shoot and chainsaw a PS3 and Wii U as a Mclaren MP4/12 in a Forza Livery does donuts on the remains would have made me go wow I gotta get an Xbox!

For me its night and day between the two current consoles and I cant see that gap being bridged in a matter of months. Sony are miles behind in any social side for the console, only just introducing party chat is just madness. Having sold my 360 and bought a PS3 only to buy a 360 back within 12 months says it all for alot of gamers.

The social side of games keep everyone on the console, without party chat I would of moved to PC years ago. Might sound a bit far fetched but everytime you turn on a PS3 your instantly bored, sending a basic message takes an age! Let alone when you get into a game you got rooms full of kids changing the voice pitch constantly.

I may look at it from a none Tech side but having the option of all the extras of sky, netflix, music is brilliant. I dont own a laptop I can use 24/7 as its shared with the GF so at a price of consoles now it makes more sense to buy a gaming console that can do it all then go buy a desktop which quickly goes out of date and takes up far more room.

Polls on all these sites I take no notice of as every time you log onto your console someone is using the apps added rather then gaming. Smile

A lot of people in that same position as you Chris, wanting a multi-functional device that plays amazing games and does just about anything else too. Amazing to think how the 360 has developed from launch - it started as just a hard core games console and transformed into what it is today; the same will be true of Xbox One, it will move on from where 360 is now and continue to develop, change, grow to the demands of the customers.

To be fair, most people will end up getting both consoles, surely?

I'm looking forward to the PS4 over the Xbone (hehe) as I feel it'll be the better console. However, I said that about the PS3 and I spend far, far more time on my 360 than my PS3, mainly due to Xbox Live! Being much better than the PSN, even with PS+ and it's free games!

One thing that could be a proper killer for Xbone (hehe) is the disc-locking [Censored] and fee-paying for pre-owned games. [Censored] that. I rent most of my games, only buying games I know I'll play a lot!

I'm wondering if they'll have some work around for this? Most of the blu-rays I get in the mail now from netflix are labeled as rental and have less features than the retail disc. I couldn't tell you the last time I rented a game, there just aren't that many games that interest me.

CoD Dogs Ghosts is being livestreamed at 7pm today, on CallofDuty.com and the Machinima App on XBL. I'll be watching just to see if they bother to make CoD any different with the new tech

CoD was fun for a while. But then I became more of a hardcore realism gamer, straight through Battlefield and now into ArmA.

Doesn't E3 kick off on Tuesday?
