Pop SilentAlarm a PM, I believe he may still have the original decal packs from the last time we did this...

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
This sounds like a really good idea If you need any help with any of the stuff (and by stuff, I mean my role here as shown in my sig ) let me know. This could be an absolute blast
I'd suggest making it a spec series, so all the cars and their tunes are stock and it's a level playing field. Or have a tune on your storefront

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
I've got all the decals done and dusted already But thanks for the offers!
Also I did have a tune on my storefront, but if having the cars stock would be easier then I'll leave it to what people think would work best!

So, quick yes/no answers. Stock tune or everybody with the same upgrades and tunes?

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
I think a spec tune with race tyres, race weight reduc and race rollcage would do the trick
Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Spec tune with handling mods but nothing much extra power.Maybe air filter and Exhaust like the real cars.

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
That's the similar idea as to what I had. I'll try and get a setup now and see how the car feels

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Right, well one thing has been discovered in my testing. I'm rubbish at setups and tuning!
If anyone can come up with a setup&tune that would be good for this series, I would be highly appreciative!

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Since I'm probably doing all of the statistical stuff, my opinion won't be much, but I think bone stock will keep people from cheating since you can force it off.

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
I think something is brewing for the Sunday slot at the moment. But there's a nice gap in between the biweekly TCC on Tuesdays...

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
To cut tuning, why not go with Sport or Street Upgrades? Race brakes/trans/aero/springs and dampers are all tuneable, Sport and Street are not.
Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
silentalarm42 ran a TORA Clio Cup series last year. His build made for some seriously fun racing.
Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
stock tune
no upgrades
this is fair for each racer.

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
I said I'd be up for the Clios last time Silent ran his, but never found the time. Might be able to race in this if it happens, love my Clio
Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
In terms of the car build, Lets run it stock. It's much easier
And well It's either Tuesday or Wednesday, we'll see which day is available for the most people.

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Jordan this is really heating up isn't it!
Personally I feel TORA has been crying out for something like this for a LONG time.
The way we gotta go is something that is not complicated at all, ie STOCK. People can just buy the car, make it look purdy then race it without any complications.
Maybe if this goes well this could be a continuous staple series that can be pointed in the direction of those who are new to competitive online racing (like I once was) and used as a good example for developing race craft. I will be definitely involved in this!

I like that idea. Screw it, not changing my mind again, It's STOCK. yes STOCK. I've convinced myself now ahaa
The simplicity idea is good. like you said, all you'd have to do is buy the car and make it look purdy
If anybody can help me with like setting it up and running it (I know Bandit offered to help with timing and stuff like that), then i'd be grateful
If you're 100% in on the idea, post 'IN' as well as which day you're available, either Tuesday or Wednesday (or both if you can make both.)
Thanks guys!

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
I'll help you out with this. I don't mind Tuesday or Wednesday Just bare in mind that our cousins overseas might not be able to participate in weekday events; Note the TCC and it's US variant the NATCC that's run on Tues.
Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Ah, in which case, it'll be wednesday.. Don't need to be competing with that series!! If anybody wants to make there car now, friend me on xbox live and i'll gift you the vinyl pack

Re: Any interest in a possible Clio Cup Championship??
Maybe pop it on your storefront so people can download it whenever? Might be the better idea.
So what's the format? Normal assist regs, Qualifying 5 flying laps to decide where people go, then two races with points, races last 20 mins roughly? Race Two = finishing positions of race one.
Simples.
