- Repairable Aero bits (would cost additional time in the pits to repair the amount of damage)

- dedicated Servers! M$ has the resources, T10. USE THEM
- 50 player lobbies! (43 TASCAR Stock Cars in one lobby anyone? )

- proper Distance readings in lobby (0.00 miles/km. we had this in FM3 damn-it!!)

I liked Autovista I just think they should incorporate it more into the game. In FM4 is was literally just "look what we can do!". I'd like it to be an option for all the cars in the career garage, but perhaps without the voiceover.

Yes to all of the above Although I did have a Country Squire with a fully stroked Shelby V8 to turn it into the worlds most unassuming dragster. But I did sell it because, well... it was crap.

Rain, night races, tyre wear and repairable aero. More tracks is desirable too.

But in reality, if they just gave me more tracks and repairable aero I would be happy enough!

Firstly, they need to sort out the brakes, and general feel of traction.

Cars don't lock up as soon as you apply more than 50% brake, and they don't break traction as soon as you go more than 20% throttle!

Essentially, I want it to feel like Race Pro...

1 layer flags
Custom grid option for online races rather than 'reverse lobby'
LAP TIME IN ENDURANCE RACES PLEASE
Option of custom fuel loads
Different tyre compounds

Maybe not so realistic:

Different weather
Dedicated servers
Massive lobbies

The ability to race extended race distances in Career Mode. 3 lap races are just a bit silly.

With Horizon having the day night cycle I think we'll see that in F5, hopefully with the ability to set a standard time in lobby, so then in TEC we can have a realistic early morning stint, or a happy hour. It won't happen but it'd be cool if it affected the cars performance too, rather than just the temp affecting the tires.
Rain would also be nice, as would varying intensities of rain, but if it's in it'll probably just be standardised.
Proper tire sim too, I can't understand why they went to Pirelli and made some invincible tires, when Pirelli have stacks of data on tires that wear out after a few laps...
Proper pit stops, let me select the amount of fuel and whether or not to change tires etc, I genuinly couldn't care less about an actual pit crew, I'd rather have a proper system in place before they start messing around with that.

Single player I want to be more 'Career Focused'. Not just like a series of quick races like now.

With options on race distance would be nice too! maybe 3,5,10,20,50 laps or something if they want to keep it simple, they can base XP gained the same as they would an online race..

Not nessasarily a car request, but when it comes to the entire range of "convertable" cars, when tuning them to become race ready versions, instead of the soft-top, a racing rollcage is there in its place. Just like what we see with the Ma5da series.

I think they should have all the race paints on one car in the dealership along with a silhouette option. Instead of having four Ferrari F430GTs, just have one Ferrari F430GT with all four paints to choose from along with a silhouette option.

MATTE PAINT!!! they got in Horizon, they better have it in FM5.

and i agree with your statement Bandit. have that they have FIVE Audi A4 DTM's with slightly different liveries, and just one Merc. must've been T10's way of padding the 'Car Count Total'. it'd be understandable if the cars were different 'spec' wise, i.e. the older Viper race cars (the oreca one and the other)
