"One of the biggest challenges we faced was sourcing the footage. It wasn't until the late 1980s that the BTCC was televised consistently but we've managed to unearth some wonderful stuff from the '60s and '70s too."

Matt Neal has today revealed that the new Honda Yuasa Honda Civic Tourer is 0.7 sec per lap slower than its Hatchback predecessor after it's first test with the new weight balance being blamed for the gap in pace.

Tom Ingram is to drive for Speedworks in one of their Toyota Avensis NGTC's it was announced this morning, with the Reigning Ginetta GT Supercup Champion Finally making the setup up to a full season in BTCC.

Andy Neate will not return in 2014. In true Top Gear style Neate has been ambitious but rubbish and sold his 2013 car with the hopes of building a new shell for 2014 which hasn't materialised.

I'm not saying he is of Clelands caliber just that he has that same sort of disregard. Cleland usually turned it into something awesome or a race win though. Andy just seemingly for no reason at all. Rolling Eyes

What I mean is, after the horrific injuries Andy Neate endured at the Silverstone 24 Hours a few years ago, he was doing damn well in an extremely competitive national championship. I have huge respect for the guy.
