LMP there's at least a .3 per lap difference...

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
I keep it pinned on a pad but when using wheel and pedals i've found its quicker lifting off. In the NAFFCAR I believe its worth closer to 0.8 as the gearboxes are so horribly poor in those cars!

You know I was discussing the time between shifts and not lap times right?

Does one not transition to the other? If you spend an extra bit of time shifting, you lose that much on the lap.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
So, Round 5 at a Sunny Catalunya.
ISCC 2013's GTE pole time was a 1:47.5 set by Texas with Rain getting a .6 just behind him both in LMR Corvettes.
I am sure these will be beaten very soon.
Currently after 5 laps ive gotten a 1:49.606 over a second quicker than I did in ISCC pretty please with that.
Anyone else done any laps yet?

My best pre-season testing best was a 1:48:4XX. Lets see what testing can deliver over the next two weeks

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
You are more dense than diamonds -_- just kidding! lol but I'm around a 1:47.0 right now with a high 1:46 left in it.LMR WARSPITE wrote:The Bulin Wall5 wrote:LMR WARSPITE wrote:You know I was discussing the time between shifts and not lap times right?

Haha I'm the polar opposite I'll test pretty much every day before the race; wanting to learn every bump and discolouration in the tarmac while endlessly tinkering with the car... and I still miss lobby A by 0.1s!

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
whaaa... 46's? damn. Quit sprinkling nitromethane into your wheaties
I was gonna race this, but I can't quite break into the 47's in the Vette. Probably my tune is no good, but still. TCS or no? I hear a lot of people use it now and it helps with the Vette breaking loose.

I've had it down to a 46.719 with TCS on. But I've always ran traction in front engine GT cars. Just suites my driving style.
Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
47.555 on lap 3, same exact tune... TCS on for the Vette. Maybe I should tune the car for the track, maybe I'll be closer to a 46.

I'm always slower with TCS on, even with LMP cars
