Try mine in the Garage, im only a few tenths of my time on Sunset and am faster with it on a couple of other tracks, its such a smooth car.

Anyone got a Viper tune they are willing to share. I'm currently on a learning curve when it comes to tuning my own cars and never really gotten in to that side of the game.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Was turning a few laps most of the tracks tonight (mostly in other cars for a bit of fun).
Got back in the Ford for one last 5 lap run on Sunset and hit a 1:26.5xx followed up by a 1:26.4xx. Given that I had only run a few, high 1:26's before I was happy to call it a day. The only difference - I had TCS on for the last run tonight, it made it so much easier to go full throttle out of the slower corners.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Does anyone have a Porsche tune for Sunset or something that it could work around here? Really struggling with the Porsche Springs as hitting the final banking and getting 20% spring damage isn't the idea I don't think.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
In the Viper i got a 1.29.2 without any upgrades.... is that any good ?
If your thinking why i did not put the upgrades on.... it is because i have not got the money to buy the car

Hopefully that's the case, I just can't see myself dropping into the 26s, but then again I started off with 1.29s and now look where I'm at.MichaelJGroves wrote:Eycd wrote:Average pace = 1.27.8-1.28.1

Put up a really cheap car for 10 million credits for all of today and I will buy it. Make sure you tell me what you put up.

I'm doing mid 28's. The Merc is as good as it's going to get in the corners but it doesn't seem very good on the brakes.ShrinkingSteven wrote:Sadly 27.4 and lower had splits for a 26.7s but i cant seem to get the porsche to grip mid-out of corners. So annoying...

Shift a little front brake bias? As a little bit more brake pressure?

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
The Porsche is a nightmare, but it's quick. I got a 1:25.7 in it one lap, and the next lap I hit the wall 3 times. Then on the next lap I binned it into the pit wall in turn 1 and my session was over

I'd love a 1.26.7 yet alone a 1.25.7 lap time...

What are you running in it setup wise because I don't think my driving is the entire issue

I'm sure your driving isn't the issue; the Porsche is a handful. For my tune I mitigated some of the natural oversteer by running a bit of negative toe and front-biased ARBs. I noticed the Porsche likes to sit down on the back end very hard because of the engine placement, so I made sure the springs were stiffer in the rear, but I counteracted that with softer damping in the rear so it doesn't oversteer off the apexes. I also run fairly high differential settings with this car, sometimes near 100%. And of course all GT cars should have off most if not all of the downforce.

I noticed the rear does like to come around a lot I played with the tire pressure and camber a lot but I noticed the aero really doesn't matter much . Do you have all the differential in front and the rear or one of the two
