Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
1:29.8xx is my best so far...had splits for a .6 but that's on a perfect lap in this Suzuka tune. If the tune is tweaked and I put in some good practice, I think the 1:29.5's is possible. Or maybe Faith would only be able to do that

The aero helped a little but so far the only thing that's helped is only running 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears, Getting closer to the 29s.

Still didn't practice. Might not practice at all, since I'll probably be Race Only due to F1 starting at 19:00 BST.

Do you reckon a 1.28 is possible in any car ??? also is it possible in the Viper ?
I don't have the Viper, but my Lambo time was in 5 laps, so 28s are definitely possible.

Does that mean I don't have to bring the Pepper-spray to blind myself from that darn Abruzzi?

1:32.007 in the Jag. Have had splits to get into the 31's, but I seem to be messing up the last sector.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
1.32.5 is my best, any tips? The first corner and the long corner that comes onto the straight gain a lot of time if taken better but cant find much time anywhere else other then being smoother and gaining 0.05 then to loose it on the next corner.
Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Find a balance in the car is one Major factor, when tuning I found you had a choice between oversteer for the first section, or a smooth exit in the last, try and get it somewhere between, this worked for me and iv dropped a second off my lap times in the space of a few days.
Another tip is curbing, don't be afraid to nose dive into the uphill curves, there's one you need to get a strong angle on but not so much as too clip it as its a 100% Penalty by the Games own rule. (Dirty lap).
Other than that not much I can say, long gears maybe, and just hotlap your own Ghost for a while see where you can make up time and see where you smash it!
Good luck!

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
^Very good advice there. This track has a lot of quick direction changes which gives most of these GT cars a hard time. You have a choice of understeer or snap oversteer with a very narrow margin of comfort in between, but finding that comfort zone will land you a nice lap.

Done some testing in the ferrari around indy, managed a 22.4 with sebring tune. Doubt I'll be bothered to change it so I'll be looking for a low 22
