Thats not even funny. I did 5 laps last night and barely scraped into the 31s. The Porsche literally doesn't sit down around here due to all the bumps.

1:31.1xx in the Ford.
It would be a tough race for me but I'll be on the way back from Oulton Park so won't be racing.

Do you reckon a 1.28 is possible in any car ??? also is it possible in the Viper ?

What type of gear ratio are you using in the Lamborghini? I did some laps and got a 1:30.9 but I left with a strange sense that the car could be way faster around the track. Do you do the second from last corner flat out? (The one with the Toyota Board). I do feel at home in this track though. Just like the Nurburbring GP

The double right hander/Hairpin is killing me, Just cannot get traction without stretching the gears to be ridiculously long.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Okay I may need to replace my controller....
Went into Hotlap mode to try and get my feel of the car back (since I tend to do very little practice and in test tune mode), after 5 laps set a 30.9, restarted with some tweaks, 30.5 with splits for a 30.1.
I then back out to send some decals and forgot in hotlap mode if you don't save your tune... it resets.
Oh and why did I mention the controller? I went to put it down firmly on the beside cabinet in annoyance whilst I grab my coffee, missed the surface and dropped it around 3ft face down... and kinda split the case in half, so yea that's me done for this week.![Embarassed](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_redface.gif)

I use 2nd through 5th gear, and I let off a bit going into that second to last corner, but I do so early to get back on the power earlier and get a faster run on that small straight before the hairpin (that's a good way to make passes in this car given its lack of acceleration).

If your Suzuka tune had any downforce off, that might be the source of your problem.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Nightmare, I remember drag racing you up the back straight on Sunday. Definitely some aero off that car.
Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Cheers, I'll give that a go.
I was running about 2/3rds rear DF at Suzuka and was thinking of putting it to max for Infineon.

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Vette pretty much needs the full downforce, cars like the Lambo, Viper and the McLaren could get away with around 90%, you want to try and keep the back end light when exiting corners but nose-heavy to handle the first section.
Not questioning your knowledge nightmare mate, is mainly for any guys who have trouble tuning or need some tips to give them the advantage.![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Re: USGT Championship - Laptimes
Anyone got any tuning tips for the Ferrari, bit of a handful here for some reason :/ The back end is all of the place and the car feels really on edge if that makes sense. Really hard to get a smooth lap.
