D4ninho- I'd recommend using manual WITHOUT clutch in this car. I find it difficult to down shift with it on.

Clutch is easy to use when braking just use the controller layout 1 and swap handbrake and clutch then invert gears, cause your thumb rests on a (clutch) and can easily press b and a to change/change down when braking

I use the clutch all the time but it REALLY isnt needed in the Lotus E21.

Hmm I'll test in a bit and see if I notice a lap time difference.

You'd think the computer in a modern F1 car could engage/disengage the clutch quicker than any human can anyway

don't they change gear at 0.002 or something stupidly quick?

I find the revs bounce too much when driving this car WITH clutch. The gears changes are a lot smoother without and I'm quicker in the braking zones too. It takes too long in the lotus to press A then X whilst decelerating/braking.

I'll continue to keep an eye on this series as we enter June. I rarely play F5 or the one.. But I can agree, the Lotus E21 is a great machine.

I just hope we can get more sign ups :/

are any assists allowed as i tried this and can only really drive it quick with most assists on,lol

auto gears for me means i can hit my apex every time but for some reason manula gears means i miss them, its weird i know.

This series sounds like tons of fun! And I'll be able to participate fully since I'll be done with school. If anyone wants to pick me up as a teammate, I'd be more than happy to join with you. Otherwise, I'll submit registration as a privateer in a couple weeks when the madness of the end of school is over.

Edited the paint on mine slightly and did quite a few laps round Catalunya last night. There's really something amazingly satisfying about planting the throttle about 200yrds earlier than any other car and knowing it's going to stick.
The grip is just sensational.

I love the feeling when you're coming to turn 9 (back up the hill) and you take it flat out the car just sticks.

I'm thinking about doing this, but am not good at liveries!  

You could just do the livery from an older F1 car. As they have very easy paint jobs.

Or find something you like on the storefront and ask them to upload a copy with your race number on it.

i think Standaman as some fantastic liveries available for the Lotus, maybe ask Stan, He might be able to help you out. I've only ever done one livery otherwise I'd offer myself.

I would offer to help but I went through enough pain with the Ferrari and that doesn't even have any fancy line work   

Trying to do Spyker. Kinda a pain, but I'm sure I'll get there!
