Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Hey guys, how long have the race nights usually taken? I'm asking this because I have been scheduled to work this upcoming Sunday, and I go in at 5 PM EST, and the qualifying starts around 3PM EST. Thanks in advance!

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Last race took a bit longer due to splitting the lobby & connection difficulties. But if we only have 1 lobby, then I reckon we could be done in 90 minutes. Providing everyone is online and ready before 8pm

If you just hang fire for five minutes, I may be able to make qualifying. After disconnecting from wireless, my installation shot up from 5% to 90% in 25 minutes.

Ah, doesn't matter anyway, go when you're ready. After installing the whole damn game again, I have to download the updates. I may have to start at the back of the grid depending if I can get through these updates in time before the race starts.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Xbox has had a complete meltdown, taking ages to do anything on the dashboard & now it's refusing to turn on at all. Very angry as this has cost me a good finish in this Championship, I was certainly looking at Top 5, maybe even top 3 if luck went my way. I Quit.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Aside from a lag ram during the formation lap, I tried to avoid whomever I could. I won't hold a grudge, things happen.
Photos coming soon.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Couldn't be happier with my two starts. First one got me 5th before carnage ensued behind.
Second start, I had warmer tyres and just nailed it and was 4th going into Farm before getting absolutely dive bombed from behind. So a lap down before even completing a racing lap was montrously disappointing considering the speed shown in the car.
Managed to unlap a good number of the field and went deep into the race. Pitted, came out and that lobby-wide lag spike meant a ma-hoosive crash with I think BDR BOX, and ANOTHER laps worth of driving with half a car.
Considering I was doing mid to low 32's all race long I think that was a good result gone begging.
Pretty frustrated as I had re-iterated at the start that we had to give space and sadly that's not happened. Obviously, the people involed in the first restart had better luck in the second so I feel pretty hard done by.
Hey-ho. Roll on the next.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Really unlucky Matt. Sorry the second restart was my fault. I had checked up on the start so as not to run over my teammate and got pinned inside through turn two. I was trying to keep left but when I hit the throttle I caught the curb and got kicked out into one of the BDR guys that was trying to get by. Had a good race. Set a PB with a 1:30.5. I was shocked that XPR Eggy caught me after pitting and before I stopped. I really thought I was flying. After my pit stop, things got a little hairier as I seemingly lost the ability to get through Maggots/Becketts cleanly. I got off rhythm. The lag spike came when I was side by side with lapped traffic in Copse. It was a minor miracle to make it out of that without damage! Good racing everyone! Looking forward to Spa.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
After rechecking the replay to see what happened during the formation lap:
- I slowed down a bit, person behind me doesn't have time to react, I get rear-ended.
I'm not going to file a S.I, things happen.

Formation lap standards are certainly lacking in all series as a whole at TORA. I'm hoping it either clears up or gets addressed soon. A lot of people are way too close on the parade lap and can't adjust to the changes of speed quick enough & that's how incidents occur.

ok, my broadcast is unwatchable due to a wireless connection making it super laggy. I'll try a re-run later today/tomorrow. Some very close racing and definitely worth watching

and you just "happen" to catch my crash in that clip too haha.
Very nice overtaking though. I was sooo so gutted to spin on that kerb. I was hoping to take a podium and fight with you and eggy for the whole race.
