Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
I wouldn't recommend streaming using twitch through the XB1 app during ANY GP race. Qualifying is ok as Collisions are off but if it causes lag in a race, that's a different kettle of fish.

You're not the only one, I'm struggling to get anywhere near my PB, stuck in the high 34s. Think I may be closer to the back than the front, unless pretty much everyone else is having issues.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
OK guys, Just a few things about tomorrows GP.
I wanted to mention the pits. I know a few of you already know but for some strange reason, the speed limit is maxed out at 22Mph.
Also, Entering and exiting the pits. You MUST enter and exit correctly and not cross the kerb at the entrance or cross the solid white line when exiting. I'll mention it all in lobby too.
Other than that, I wish everyone good luck in the race tomorrow, I hope you've got lots of practice in I'm still doing no better than 1.34's. So annoying, I'll be glad when we get to round 3 at this rate.

Due to severe lag, the 1 lobby has been split so you have a chance to start at the back of B lobby. BR BOLLAND will invite you shorty

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Ricky, and everyone who raced tonight, I can only apologise for the way it went tonight. I tried to provide a good race and the opportunity for everyone to fight a full grid but the lag was too severe to carry on. So I had to make the decision there and then to split the lobby into two. I'm sorry this took away the opportunity for a podium or more for all in B lobby. I guess 16 in 1 lobby is too much. We had 0% lag issues after the split.
Thanks for being patient tonight guys. See you all at Silverstone.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
You handled the situation well Devil. Difficult one to call where people would be pissed with either decision.
The race tonight was tough. Very tough. A horrific start dropped me from 2nd to 5th, I had bad pace, incredibly inconsistent, silly mistakes & just wanted to see the race out in 5th. No action for me until I pitted on lap 35 & 3 consecutive mistakes by Devil at the chicane gifted me 4th on lap 38. Seeing out the end of the race in 4th.
That race was one of the hardest I've ever done; and I've triple stinted in the TEC before! The margin for error is so small, and a slight mistake could easily cost over a second. Whereas in the GT car, you can almost go into autopilot mode & lap subconsciously. Concentration required is above & beyond any over series I've participated in.

Nurburgring GP is a TOUGH track... I can't do it on autopilot, even in a GT car! It's so tough mentally! Anyways, sorry you guys had lag issues!

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
Great race everyone, if not particularly exciting. I think I overtook maybe 4 cars the whole race including lapped traffic and two of those were in the first 10 laps. But keeping the car on the track at speed is a constant act of sheer will at Nurburgring. My hands were killing me at the end. Sorry that RickyTan couldn't pick up the podium spot he surely would have found had it been one lobby, but kudos to Dean for making the best out of a bad situation. And thanks Ricky for taking one for the team and pounding out the lobby 2 win for the points!

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
That's a race to forget lol
Silverstone should provide the best race so far in 2 weeks time.
Thanks for sticking with it last night. I felt bad about having to restart and split but at least we got there in the end. I wont be doing a full 16 lobby until I know it wont produce the severe lag we seen last night.
But...it as been mentioned that the Destiny BETA could've been to blame.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
And if people were streaming, that could've added extra issues.
The tune I have on (pulled from the storefront...thing) must have the stiffest springs & anti-roll bars possible, I'm going round copse and the inside two wheels are lifting off sending me off into the gravel. I like Silverstone, but I think I'll struggle again with consistency. I really enjoy the next 4 tracks.

Re: MSA TORA GP General Discussion
It seems like there won't be much braking around Silverstone, so might be tough to go wheel to wheel with people.

Track limits are going to have to be watched at Silverstone. Especially on the exit of copse, stowe, and the last part of club.

Also potentially Aintree and Abbey exit. But yes those will be the main areas to keep an eye on.
