Touring Masters Lap times

The one car I have most questions about is the Alfa... as I don't have the DLC for it therefore I could not test it for myself. Looking at lap times, it seems a bit offpace?

Well, I was able to make the Nissan my "ghost" at Cat and Mug... tonight I try to beat it. After which I will select my car choice, unless I get a teammate with better ideas.

i thought about doing this series but i wont be now after looking at lap times iv no idea how your getting them times..all of you are a second an a half slower than me in a s class 600bhp viper and as for the cars youv selected your 6 to 7 seconds faster than me....i just cant see how its possible to get them times in these cars.....

If it's any help I'm not near those times either! Usually lap times threads on TORA are just full of the Top Times and the majority of the field are a few seconds further back (and Sometimes they're even bluffing!) my advice is always just to build something that's easy and comfortable for you to drive and you'll find A) Consistency (just because they posted that time doesn't mean they're always hitting it) B) Someone to race, Chances are if your not at the sharp end theres other guys that aren't there either and you can get a good race with them.

quickest ive had in is the Merc - 2:04:7 its all about the cornering speed guys

I'm no where near them either but I will be racing. As long as I can race clean and have fun with everyone I'm going to enjoy it. I can get quicker over time but gotta start somewhere.

I am in the 2:07s at Mugello most laps, upper 2:06s on a "Good God how did I do that?" lap, and the occasional 2:08 if I misjudge a couple/few apexes.

ive hit the 2:04:7's 3 times and the rest are 2:05 deads

Catalunya: 2:02:4
Mugello: 2:04:8
hockenheim: 1:55:100
Silverstone: 2:04:9

They are all glitched

In a more serious note, the Mercedes is a little too easy to get a good result with.
Tried all except the alfa and they all suffer from various afflictions. The Mercedes being the best all rounder, annoying considering the Cosworth easily dominated for many years.

Since the Mercedes has been flushed out as better then we had tested it to be, I am hoping that the usual fast guys avoid the Mercedes at risk of appearing a goon. If that can happen, then the racing will be all the better.

So.
The gentleman's agreement is as follows :
If you find yourself running a lap time quicker than a 2.06.0 round mugello then you will voluntarily pick another car other than the Mercedes.
