The next Friday Series
As GRX is nearing the mid point, perhaps it is time to start thinking of "what's next?"
TBH, I am unsure as can be. So many options worth a second round, so many options yet to be seen at all.
This week's Question: Should the next series be "Spec", "Locked Tune or Build", or another "Build It n Bring It"?

Hmm... I don't have the GMC Vandura, and thats as far off what I am thinking for Spec as you could get.
My Spec ideas include:
R34 Skyline (640 PI AWD)
Shelby Series 1 (610 PI)
1996 Corvette GS (590 PI)
Alfa Guilia Stradale (450 PI)

Re: The next Friday Series
I had an idea a few days ago for a series. 50s lemans cars. The cars are expensive but I bet it'd be fun! Or a classic leightweights cup. Featuring say Alfa Romeo Giulia, the Datsun 510, Lotus Elan, Porsche 914 etc.

Re: The next Friday Series
I try to keep this timeslot low class, err below S Class, as every time I have scheduled R Class cars on Fridays, the attendance slips to below an acceptable count. With maybe the lone exception of GT300, which did get a decent draw.
I'd love to see V8SC happen again, but not sure if this is the timeslot for it.

I still like the idea of 50's FR lemans racers. A class or high b claas. Aston DBR-1, Jag D-Type, Ferrari 250 TR, Mercedes 300 SLR...

Re: The next Friday Series
Trex - I might have notes on that... Mikey, I will send you my class builds this weekend on what we talked about. They are set builds, with a set final drive, A and S class cars..., plus I have a few more that I will send over. I have notebooks of series, builds, etc etc

Re: The next Friday Series
Now, that is a large carlist. I'm thinking of knocking it down a few notches, and would like my old friend Tubbi to weigh in... do we delete the dominant cars, or just run the dominant cars? Either way could create some of the best Touring Car racing to be found anywhere.
Re: The next Friday Series
Happy to help with the list. ...or. ......We could run the junior touring cars.
More fun with an equally proven set of cars

Re: The next Friday Series
I had also thought of JrTCC... but the carlist is much the same as GRX, so I was going to wait a couple series to dust it off and bring it back to life.
Either way, expect Touring Car action to stay alive on Fridays

Re: The next Friday Series
TCC S6 is the series that brought me to TORA, so it has a special spot in my heart... whether we limit the cars to the top 5-6 performers, or run the rest of the car list w/o those dominators, this should be a good one.

Re: The next Friday Series
I have had an idea, what does everyone think of an Audi Quattro mini series.
This car handles like cr@p in AWD but I have just played around with it in RWD and it's awesome.
Quick, handles easily with plenty of acceleration, and if the series goes ahead I will produce my tune to anyone who enters to level up the field.
I may even put up a prize of two months microsoft gold membership too.
Thoughts everyone?

Re: The next Friday Series
What about LOCKING your tune and having everyone drive the SAME car... driver ability will win, not better tuning...?
