Re: The next Friday Series
I'm not keen on that sort of stuff.
Its nice to customise your car to your driving skill and taste.

errr Spec Cup?
Re: The next Friday Series
Spec style is what I thought he was talking about with the RWD swap... misunderstanding. LOL
I am just thinking of stuff, like everyone else. haha!
There was a reason why I had other people setting up my cars in REAL LIFE. lmao!

Re: The next Friday Series
I never ran with the previous iteration of the TCC rules so that sounds like fun.
Tubbi, I think the Sport Quattro has to stay AWD. Perhaps a GRX style series with 2 classes (Sport Quattro road car and S1 race car) or as part of a 'historics' series with RS200/Escort Cosworth/Integrale/Galant VR-4/205 T16/Legacy RS/Celica GT4 as an AWD class and maybe E30/037/Escort RS1800/Starion/5 Turbo/Celica Supra as a RWD class with a slightly lower grip handicap?

Re: The next Friday Series
I'd rather drive a series like we have now.
100% fun to drive and the series is more about just racing there and having a good time, then to be on the edge of grip/etc all the time.
Because I am a lot more competitive in this series then in a GT series or an A-Class build your own car series.
Also the way qualifying is done, it's not based on lap times but on your performance. That makes it a lot more fun to drive for me. Also the fact that we have championship standings but not many care about that, we are here to race and drive a good fun night.
So something like a truck fun series I prefer then a TCC build or Spec Series with a hypercar.

Re: The next Friday Series
^^^^ agreed. Could you imagine Raptors on really small tracks like Iberian, with the jumps! It would be Hilarious and a little like the Dukes of Hazzard with 4x4's!
Re: The next Friday Series
I see a few as well, *cough* Prius *cough*.
Trucks would be fun to! Raptor FTW!

Re: The next Friday Series
Freheliaz, the old TCC carswere a bit different than recent editions...
and who says that we can't use the GRX Qually heat format
Adding that to the mix could make things even more interesting, along with 3 wide starts???

Re: The next Friday Series
With another 3 wide start I'd really have to practice my starts.
But having a series with different grip settings again would be a huge plus for me.
