Due to broken game chat, hosts will be doing their best to retrieve everyone's distance to the leader, but a game clip is your insurance. As it is ultimately up to you to take down your own information, failure to game clip leaves you with a risk of having no data from your stint, which we will not be responsible for crediting you.
A game clip can be taken by double clicking the Xbox Home button, then hitting X.
it will not record if your streaming
Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Best be resourceful and take a picture of your distance to the leader, if you're streaming. The point is to attain record for your own evidence.

is a picture alright?
Just because sometimes game clips can take a while to upload to xbox.com

Would that also work if we're recording with something like an Elgato and uploading a short clip to YouTube in case the Xbox record doesn't work?
Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Any of those are fine. We just want people attaining evidence of their own incase there are any complications brought on by the faulty communications Xbox Live provides.
Recording a game clip is our recommended approach, however in cases of streaming and such where there that may not be possible, please do what you must to attain the same sort of information.
When it was easy for hosts to ask each driver for their distance, this was not an issue. Unfortunately, it is not so simple these days on Forza 6, so we ask for this to avoid anyones distance being lost.

It's also worth mentioning if you have a chat pad the X1 button can screenshot and X2 can record if you haven't rebound them

Also make sure everyone reads the information in the first post in the stints thread so you all know what to do to get your distances added for each stint you complete.
As for how to enter your stints, if you read the first post you will know how it's done

Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Wasted qualifying session. It was going to be tough to beat Hamish's lap time. But two things killed me off:
1) Debris at turn 1
2) Drivers driving the wrong way which put me right off.

I feel you. Besides putting too much pressure on myself and being stressed with college and other personal real life things, there was a lot of talking at times in the lobby and tires thrown all over the first corner. I got even more distracted because of it

I went in with no pressure because my team mate did an outstanding job. But I got into it at the end, which I'm good at doing. I was detached from the chat, I saw the visual clues when the host spoke, it seemed quiet and I knew the procedure anyway. It's a shame that the things bugged me that did.

Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Is there any type of emergency options available to the teams. With the major snow storm on the east coast there's a good chances a lot of the Mid Atlantic drivers could be without power by tomorrow.

An emergency sub can be brought in as long as they are not registered in the race with any other team.
