Yes, but qually starts in 2-3 days. It would have been okay if you had done this a week ago, but now? Not a terribly good choice.

Only 1 team has picked the DP as their car of choice and they are on the reserve team list. This change, although I agree it should have put into LMP1 from the beginning, should affect 0% of people.

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
I doubt anyone will run the DP car in the LMP class. Honestly you guys should've just removed it after there was no interest in its spec class. If no one is going to use it, what's the point of even trying to balance it. From a media perspective it looks kind of silly having the DP car racing around with P1 cars. Not trying to send shots to TORA or anyone, just giving my honest opinion.

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Thanks Minardi - it's a mistake internally and the announcement should have been made last week but was missed.
Ultimately, if this race had happened a few weeks later I suspect we'd have had people clamouring for the 919 to be added too
We did the same for the Toyota, the option was potentially there but no one wished to take it up on that occasion.
You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. I thank Haydie and the guys behind the scenes who did their utmost to make the car fit for Sebring.
I find it highly frustrating that the people complaining (again) are people who are not affected by it and once again launch into unproductive attacks with no concept of the facts.
Constructive debate I welcome, anything else I don't.
As with the GT's please concentrate on the racing, we have zero place here at TORA for politics. Out of the 70+ people who turn up and race in the GT for instance the issues were ocne again caused by the loud minority. It's becoming really wearing and saying 'don't take it personally' it's utterly, diabolically ridiculous. Those people know who they are and they need to be quiet now. Sit down, race return to the real world. That's how we play it and how we've played ot for the thick end of 9 years. There's other communities out there that are 'just' sim racing groups and probably have some great stuff going on. TORA is special and it's sad to see a few people trying to darken the atmosphere for the rest of us who just want to pitch up and race with mates.

The GT Cars are always gonna have certain 1's out of reach and i do believe Haydie and the others have done the best they can with it, maybe take out the Lambo though it will be no where on any circuit but i guess its there just incase people like that particular car, well ill be sure to enjoy the race in the coming weeks .

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Myself and Hayden balanced the cars to the best of our ability. We balanced the DP to LMP just to show that it could hold its own in that class, the same with the Lamborginhi in GT3. Both these cars do not run in LMP and GT3 in r/l, we just balanced them to show they could run in these classes. We didn't have any say as to whether they were implemented into the car list.

If it's just a certain upgrade bugging out, couldn't the build just be changed?

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
First of all, the car would become uncompetitive, rendering it needless anyway, and secondly, Mr. Ekberg has warned against using it at all until they fix it.

Only teams affected right now that I know of are Nein Shiza Autosport and LMR Del Caribe (who are reserves). Other than that, it should be fine.

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Our Rookie Team is now at the first GT reserve spot. Are they allowed to run in Q6 in case someone's withdrawing between the qualifying sessions and the race?

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
we're 4 days out of the race...
I know that the DP was a shamble how it was handled, but no point doing the same thing with the 919...

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
The 919 will NOT be at Sebring. Qualifying has already taken place and its very unfortunate what happened with the DP, but this is not TORA's fault.

TORA RO's, You guys need some additional help running this race? I can't do anything on the console side but I am willing to help all day on the website, with live timing, communications, etc.
I can also contribute as a commentator for streaming but someone else must provide the feed.
Good luck everyone! I'm looking forward to some great racing!

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
People who put debris on the track time and time again should be penalised. There's no reason for marker boards and those advertising toblerones to be littered everywhere. The tyres on the last corner are annoying but there should be no reason for any other debris to be on track.
That cost me pole...

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Totally understand your frustration dude. It happened to both of our teams (F4H Red & Blue Sonja) during our qualifying session on Monday. I know it cost Red about two tenths and it cost me a tenth. There's no excuse for it.

It cost me 2nd in GT in your session, as well. I was half tempted to submit an SI before realizing it would get tossed
