Isn't it a glitch with the tires? I don't think anybody in my session actually hit them, but they were spread all over anyway.

sometimes if there is lag the people will 'hit' the tyres without actually hitting them...

True, but in our lobby, every time there was a new scattering of tires, there was a car heading into the pits on the mini map when the observers were heading into the last sector before coming across said tires. Regardless, it's over and done with, but everyone, please save everyone else's frustration as well as prevent damage to your car and slow down to avoid the barrier if you must.

As I say, the tyres might be the one inconvenience that we have to put up with. I have seen lag before; equally I've seen hard hits. But as for those advertising prism blocks - what are they doing on the track? Those things HURT when hit...

Will try to bump them back onto the grass if im in clean air. Save you guys in LMP getting mega front end damage.
I wondered where the tyres were coming from thought it was a solid wall until that happened.

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
i have not really a problem with the plates on the track... my problem is that i miss my breakpoints because of the missing signs.
but i also realized that the signs sometimes disappear by itself. in our training lobbies nobody hit them and one round later they are gone.

I think they did get hit by an LMP car that session.

I agree.
There are those that will say "use braking line and it will solve this". I have tried that, it makes the game lose too much sim for my tastes. My solution would be "ban brake line" so that everyone has the same handicap.

and that Solution would lose alot more of the Community we have going we have alot of people that use Braking Line, why not Force TCS ABS and STM if thats the case, if you want more of a "Sim Feel"

I'm using "none of the above", but I know that many do... then many also say the game is "too arcadey to be a proper sim" Funny people they are.
That being said, when I can find another day to devote to hosting a series, I have plans for a "proper sim" spec series in which all assists are turned off, with forced cockpit view. I know there may be few entries, but it truly will be as sim as Forza can get.

dont believe ive said them words before and people that say that should obviously run without the hud with cockpit locked and no Assists whatsoever

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
I would do it but not for cockpit only, can't have 3 screens on xbox so you seriously limit your field of view.
As for litter on track, it happens in real life, nothing can be done about it, just be more observant and don't drive into it.
Would you SI someone if they blew a tyre and the debris from it lost you a tenth?

That's a completely different situation. It's not even comparable to someone hitting the tire barrier and scattering them across the track - a 100% AVOIDABLE incident. You can't "just be more observant and don't drive into it" when they're scattered across the ENTIRE width of the track.

Its not the same in that sense, but what I was getting at is the fact its completely unavoidable, we can't stop lag killing a tire wall, and we can't penalize someone for crashing, they've already penalized themselves by breaking their car

Is there a limit on how many stints u do because I might have to do 4 to 5 stints as teammate has pulled out and the other can only do 1 to 2 stints

no limit on how many stints 1 person can do. only rule is that you can't double stint 5 and 6

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
I have been asked to post on behalf of THO Shooter. He stepped down from hosting almost a year ago yet for some reason he was put down to host Lobby 2, stints 3 and 6 last night. Not only that, when I mentioned it to him he said no one had told him that he had been put down to host and this was just before his stint was due to take place. For future endures can you please note that he is NOT able to host.
Apart from that, it was a really enjoyable race and I'm looking forward to Monza

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
i have to ask am i gonna get anything for my Mileage considering i would of done 10 hours out of the 12 if not for my Disconnect in the Final Stint, i think without the Formula and to go nearly 10 hours just to have my Forza Servers [Censored] on me is unfair, its nothing to do with the Staff i know this, but it just seems that after the Daytona the Lagout FOrmula what worked Really Well was taken out cause people moaned that they didnt lag out and ended behind people who did, but hey whatever ya wanna do i guess, just hope next time i aint running basically the whole Enduro myself
