Running 10 hours straight is just madness XDHCR Solar wrote:i have to ask am i gonna get anything for my Mileage considering i would of done 10 hours out of the 12 if not for my Disconnect in the Final Stint, i think without the Formula and to go nearly 10 hours just to have my Forza Servers [Censored] on me is unfair, its nothing to do with the Staff i know this, but it just seems that after the Daytona the Lagout FOrmula what worked Really Well was taken out cause people moaned that they didnt lag out and ended behind people who did, but hey whatever ya wanna do i guess, just hope next time i aint running basically the whole Enduro myself
Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
also not to impressed that i was struggling to get a Sub by stint 4 at the start, and then at start of stint 5 i was told that people are being allowed to Double Stint, i would of Iron Manned the whole thing if that was the Case, but no we obeyed the rules and if we could not get a Sub for Stint 5 i was gonna pull the Yamagura car out, but hey we obeyed the rules and got screwed by Forza Servers what a way for a Brilliant 5 stints to get shunted by Forza Servers

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Btw i just seen a Monza video where you can cut the corners like crazy and still keep a clean lap,
my suggestion for this, for every qualifying and Stint we need a Streamer spectating and making sure to try catch these people out who want do this,
this will be hard to do but as a Community i believe we can band together to stop this "If people do feel the need to do it"

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
A big thanks to:
Harmonic, Solar, Alpine Arts, Motorhead, Virus999, the HCR guys and some of the other veterans - you know who you are. You understood and knew how to handle oncoming LMP cars, you stuck to your lines and there was never a hazard or concern passing you guys. It was a pleasure. Same with some of the LMP drivers, I could have a battle and go three wide with you guys and there was never so much as a spin, complaint or whatever. It was clean and exciting racing. A shining example of how it used to be done or at least, should be done.

For future reference is the 91 viper allowed. as far as i can tell the only difference is that it has a rear view mirror which would be nice since i use cockpit

If you mean the SRT, that has either less ir more weight than the dodge, so it would have to be built differently
Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
Huge thanks to all the GT drivers. This was my first race here in probably a year. I was a little nervous running in traffic and even more nervous when i found out I was running at night. Thanks for everyone who either got out of the way or didn't block. Had an awesome time running and hope to be a regular back here

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
It was a good event I enjoyed it.
Was a hard race for me as I knew on Tuesday that I was going to drive an LMP instead of a GT car. Many thanks for letting that happen to HCR and Ax4x.
I know I'm not the fastest so being in Lobby 1 was nice for me but I was not there up to pace with the other LMPs.
Sure I made some mistakes and due to that some crashed happened sorry to anyone who was involved in a crash with me. You know who you are.
I had a good time getting trough the field but there also were some really scary moments when passing GT cars. Some drivers need to make a choice where your racing line is. Either right or left. We LMPs will get around you. Or we stay behind you for a short period of time to make a clean pass. There is no need to drive off track to let an LMP past.
What I do find weird is that TORA states there is no double stinting in stint 5 and stint 6. But at the end of stint 4 you allowed some people to double stint 5 and 6. What's up with that. I know my team could have used that option as well if we were told we could double stint.
If you make a rule stick to that and don't make any exceptions to anyone. No matter what their situation is.
Or if you allow double stinting at the final stints then tell everyone before the event starts.

Best part of this event I think was stint 4
I just leave the pits and am behind you and you say "would you like to pit again"?
no not really.
Oh ok, I'll not brake check you then
Then first corner comes and you drop the anchor right in front of me, Oh yeah I brake early for that one lol
So offers me a brake check the does so completely by accident lol, something to be remembered that one

Final was pretty hilarious when #NizzyBants entered the game...
*leading final stint early on*
Noodle: "I'm doing something the real Nissan could never do!"
F4H Lightning: "Laps?"

Too bad you kept taking out LMPs
Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
lets not pretend that the LMPs were perfect. some of the moves made by prototypes were stupid. I was in a 3 way battle and both of the guys i was battling were taken out by 2 different prototypes that just couldn't wait for the straight that was in both cases after the corner where they tried to dive past

They were however some of us had compliments from GTs but were still wiped out by certain GTs
Neither class was perfect as each had their own collection of idiots.

Re: MSA TORA Sebring 12H - General Discussion
One class cannot be held more responsible than the other here.
Some LMPs couldn't deal with each other let alone anyone else, equally the same can be said in GT.
Most of the leading GTs were sound and there were no issues. I did offer a couple advice about the lines they should be taking and their next stints were considerably better for all.
It goes without saying that some GTs were an outright hazard. The one that wiped out Chrisupra into the hairpin at the end of stint 2 - just wow. But I can say the same about certain LMPs that were hazardous too.
Truth is - this was one of the worst races I've been part of on TORA and I REALLY don't want to witness these extents ever again.

there was an incident that I am trying to get other angles of it (hence looking for a replay). you wouldn't have seen the crash so don't worry about it

I echo all of this. It was an awful day of racing. I lost 20,000ft in stint 2 because of trying to pass LMP back markers and overtake GT cars. Stint 1 was bad but not as bad. The range of caliber in the lobby was too vast and a recipe for disaster. We had seasoned veterans trying to share the track with guys who, and I don't mean to be rude; didn't have a clue what they were doing. This combination of uber fast and uber slow guys on the same teams is something I wish could be addressed. You have a guy who puts his team in the top 3 and then a guy comes in who is way off pace and it causes all sorts of problems and said driver cannot handle the situation or pressure and we have accidents.
You could easily and clearly pick out the drivers who knew what they were doing and others who didn't. What happened in stint 2 amazed me and hopefully it is something I never see again. I was 2000ft ahead after 4 laps and a GT car was in fourth place overall.

First of all. It was my first ever Endurance Race and if i caused trouble within the LMP Cars i'd like to apologize. Especially the LMP i pushed wide at the hairpin in stint 5 in the last few minutes. I just didn't see you coming in for the overtake.
