Servers are down. What are the plans?

We are aware of this situation, and for now the plan is wait it out. If they are still down at race time, we'll push the schedule back a week, as was done for the SUV Cup earlier in the day.

Hey guys, if you noticed the forza servers are down. I don't how many time will take this problem to be solved it, but my suggestion is to postpone the race for next Thursdays. In the past, when this event occurred we experimented people lagging and with problem to enter at the lobbies.  Please, let us know what is the course of action.  Thank you!

I had a chat with an XBL tech about the servers, and he says it should be sorted out soon.

I just got notified the servers are back up and running!

I had to save fuel for 13 straight laps. I wanted to pass people but I had to conserve. I was losing my mind.

Good clean racing in B lobby. But it did appear that a few people did not have legal liveries! In fact, over half the field have what I would call major livery infractions! What is the penality for this? In real racing this is a very serious matter and would be cause for disqualification.

i am running a very simple livery....hope im not sporting an infraction!

I think it was a server issue, at least I hope that was it. I was in a race today where four cars' paint didn't load, but those whose didn't swear their cars have liveries.

My race was alright until Captain Lag (Reaper) lived up to his nickname and punted me off in Turn 6. Fix your internet

All in question are showing liveries, just not the right ones. So it isn't a server issue. Everyone is displaying a number and livery design, but there is a mix of missing decals. Some don't have the URL logo, some have it, but don't have the American Iron logo and vice versa. But if TORA wants to give everyone a pass then expect that no one need comply because they can always say it was a "server issue."

I grant you that whole paints don't always load, but when that happens you'll see a solid color car. You won't see certain decals missing or placed in the wrong place.

I'm not here to break anyone's balls. I just want to understand what the standard is and what penalty we risk for non-compliance. In my own series I always allowed a mulligan on liveries for the first round because people are people and will goof it up. But after that they would risk a minor penalty. Just a thought.

None of those things you mentioned are required. The livery rules thread says they're REQUESTED.

None of those things you mentioned are required. The livery rules thread says they're REQUESTED.

Yeah, Harmonic explained it best.

"Most" TORA series have very strict livery rules, including lots of mandatory bits, some of which are series sponsors. From the beginning I decided since this is an unsponsored, more for the sheer fun of racing series, that there'd be very few requirements.

There are certain basic "must haves", but nothing that "locks" a paint making it hard to share between teammates and such. "If" we had the proper vinyls sharing, such as FM4 had, then things would likely be a bit different.

im just happy i set a clean lap, lol! think i was around mid-pack to start that race.

B Lobby was really good too. 1st and 2nd got a gap on the pack while the pack fought it out for 3rd. A small mistake would cost you a position or two.
