Re: TORA Endurance Championship - General Discussion
From the qualifying procedure:
7.3.1 While all drivers from a team may take part in an qualifying secession, a team must have a minimal of two drivers qualify or their car will be placed at the back of the grid.

Would it not be better to allow a team to register more than the 4 drivers that will take part at some point of season but only sign in the drivers taking part as we have 5 but some races some drivers might not be able to make it so we will use 1 of the other drivers but we will have to change registration doc as I’m understanding it to change say driver 2 with driver 5

There is no driver's championship for TEC. The idea is to prevent a driver form being on more than one team at a time in the doc.

So if our driver 2 can’t make a race and we use our 5th driver do we need to re register

That is the idea, yes. There's a pretty large period of time between rounds, so you should be able to work out who can race when with plenty of time leftover to update the registration.
Re: TORA Endurance Championship - General Discussion
I would love to have lobbies bigger than 16 drivers with 2 separate parties. Race is more exciting that hot laping session

Soon. There currently WIP and everyone will be informed when there up. People have to remember Staff Members have personal lives too which means some things take longer then others want. They will be up soon

Can we get the preliminary builds you thought of anywhere, just we can actually start doing something?

Just out of curiosity: Why only the rear tyres on the Audi R18? Power ok, tyre Upgrades also, but why not the front tyre Upgrades? 🤔😳❓❓

Car is much more fun to drive this way. You can turn more.

ok. And one question about driver regulations: do the drivers who participate in Qualifying have to drive the car during the race aswell or could one of them be replaced by another driver of the team? Not sure about the regulations in this case...

7.2 QUALFIYING PROCEDURE:
7.2.1 The qualifying secession will last 45 minutes. The host will set up the lobby for one hour to provide time for data collection. Drivers will have until 15 minutes left on the race timer to set their fastest clean lap. If a driver is in the middle of a lap when time expires, they are allowed to finish the lap they are currently on before times are collected.
7.2.2 Drivers are not required use the entire 45 minutes to set a clean lap. If a driver is pleased with their lap 5 minutes into a secession, they are welcomed to leave provided that the notify the host. Drivers are also welcomed to pull off the track and take a break in the middle of qualifying if they so choose.
7.2.3 The pit lane will be opened the entirety of the qualifying secession. Drivers are welcomed to pit whenever they will like.
7.3 To determine grid position, best two times from a team will be taken and added together.
7.3.1 While all drivers from a team may take part in an qualifying secession, a team must have a minimal of two drivers qualify or their car will be placed at the back of the grid.
7.3.2 Each driver may only compete in one qualifying session. If a driver attempts to compete in multiple qualifying secessions then their times will be invalidated and removed.
7.4 Drivers who set a time during qualifying are required to drive at least one stint during the race.

Re: TORA Endurance Championship - General Discussion
The build for the ford still isn't competitive just as it wasnt at le mans, if i were to come up with a new build that would perform similarly to the rest of the cars time wise would it be considered?

me and Vortex managed to get the ford doing 2:00:1's at Silverstone, Spa - 2:17:1, Sebring - 2:02:8, its arguably the most consistent car give it power and a handicap it will become to quick. the car struggles down the straights but in the corners it is so lethal. just have to drive the wheels off it. but because its hard to get the times why should it be buffed because others can't hit the same? we will have another "OP CAR on our hands" we believe all of them are fair across the board for the season.

didn't mean for it to come across as "im a know it all" but we tried a separate build in the Ford and it went i think 5 tenths quicker then it is at now at Silverstone thats quicker then the Chevy BMW and Porka, whats insane.
as for the badges i believe the guy called Standaman used to do them, not sure if he does them anymore. so i couldn't say sorry bud.

don't worry man, It didn't come across at all as such, i was just interested in the ford build, that's all, especially considering that the ford used an 844 build or something like that for sebring earlier this year, like i said i trust that you guys put the time to test them, and as such I'm sure it'll be competitive, otherwise you wouldn't have 5 teams running it
